Savings are there for a reason - definitely always worth having a 'gifts' pot. I did the same kind of parties when the kids were younger although I did do some stay at home craft or theme type parties too.

Hope you get a good deal on your car insurance.

Yes, I think I'll have to set up a proper gifts pot.  Still haven't looked at my car insurance!

    Impressive decluttering list as always.
    Thank you :)

It's all fun here at the moment.  Little jwil's year have a big outbreak of Covid.  We were asked to get them all pcr tested the other day, luckily little jwil is negative.  Yesterday we were told they are closing his year for the rest of the week.  So happy homeschooling to me!

Little miss is still in school.  I'm quite relieved that they've closed as hopefully it will act as a circuit breaker.  He said 12 children and 2 TAs were out yesterday so it really has hit the class badly.  I'll keep testing him and hope he stays clear!

I received the refund from the old car insurance so have sent that to the mortgage along with my survey earnings.  I'm still PADing at least £1 every day so it's definitely trickling down.

Just packed 6 parcels to go, hurrah!  As this last lot of auctions end, I'll start our ebay break for a couple of weeks.

Glad your family are testing negative. I agree with beanie - and don't over-stress about home schooling.
