Sounds like a brilliant party too! Very jealous. And then even more jealous you are sorted for christmas. I have managed to sort out kids but not all the adults.Best of luck with managing the family move! Nothing like taking on someone else's stress! It's all going well. They don't have the space to have the kids overnight, but even a day here and there will be nice.

Hope everyone is well. I've been out most of this week, so haven't really achieved anything. It's lovely to have the family back down though. I'm hoping for a quieter weekend so I can catch up a bit.
I have cashed out on a couple of survey sites this week, so over £10 extra has been sent to the mortgage on top of my usual PADs. I finally compared car insurance prices and called up my existing insurer and asked them to match the quotes. I didn't get exactly the same discount, but still paid nearly £40 less, so I was happy with that. I need to look at home insurance next as that is due in January.
I saw that my blood test results were in my patient app, so I spent the other evening googling them to see what they meant (I have a face to face appointment to discuss them in a couple of weeks anyway). Most of them were normal, but there's a couple that were abnormal, but dr google suggests nothing sinister thankfully. I'm sure the GP will give me the full picture. I'm having to keep a food diary for the next couple of weeks too, it's reining me in a bit 😆 My scales are showing a 4-5lb loss over the last few weeks, I'm happy with that!

Well it's time for a wake-up call for me. I went back into the nhs app yesterday to show my brother the covid pass, and could see they'd updated my records. They have diagnosed me with pre-diabetes and so I can expect a letter and appointment about that.
It's not surprising really given my weight. I do have a suspicion that the results are flawed given that I ate chocolate an hour or so before the appointment, but I'm going to treat it as is, so I want to get back on the healthy eating wagon. I want to turn this around before it becomes full blown diabetes, and know that I should be able to do that with my diet. I can start that now, even while I wait for the letter and appointment.
Happy weekend otherwise. DH is on swimming duty, so I shall take the time to tidy around, get the bedding washed and clean through. We will pop out to see the family, but then I hope to have an afternoon chilling.
I must get my Christmas cards written as well and posted.

They sometimes do a second test to be sure, so if you are good between now and your appointment you could well reverse it (or just not eat chocolate on the day…which is incredibly hard, I know).
