Well I've done a lot of sleeping...
Sat down to watch Boris just before 5 yesterday and he started talking and the next thing I know it's half past six. He must have been saying something really interesting then. I felt a bit rough and annoyed because I thought that would have scuppered my plans for sleep that night but it didn't. I had an hour on the phone to my friend and then watched a Facebook live event I've been watching all of lockdown. I was in bed and asleep by 11, and woke up just after 6am. Came downstairs feeling ok. Sat down with a cuppa and watched the news and the next thing I knew it was 10.20. Needless to say I haven't managed to get much work done yet. I don't feel very unwell - I still have the cough and a bit of a sore throat and earache but obviously my body wants me to rest a bit. I don't think it's just hayfever any more but it really just feels like a niggling bit of a cold. My mojo for work isn't doing much though so looks like it might be another weekend of working for me so I can keep up. And falling asleep on the sofa has left a bit of a crick in my neck so something else to moan about.
I can't believe we've done 6 weeks of lockdown. I am just reflecting a bit with it being payday. This should be my busiest but most profitable time of the year. Debt isn't going up but it isn't going down either which is a bit good and a bit bad. I still have a job (although I'm not motivated today) so that's good, but no exam work which is bad. Holiday is paid for, which is good but may not go ahead which is bad. Saved money on fuel, good. Overspent on groceries, bad. Some days good, some days bad - you get the idea.
Sun is out today and I wish I was able to get out for my walk but unless a negative test result arrives in the next few minutes then it's another no. I have noticed that the walk is really good for me and it's something I hope I can keep up with once normality returns. Who knows when that will be though, eh? I can't see social distancing ever happening at schools so I think we're just going to have to accept that and either take the hit, or just have one year group in a day or something. That's why I don't get paid the big bucks though - I don't have to make those decisions.
Anyway. I finally feel as though I've woken up so I'd best get on. Stay safe everyone and hang on in there.

Trying to figure out how to get back to school is a tricky one. Can’t see how social distancing as it’s prescribed at the moment, can work in a classroom, particularly with very young children. No doubt the subject of many discussions nationwide.
So glad you have been enjoying your walks 😀

I have seen the couches f0xh0les... funnily enough lots of people on fakebook have been tagging me. I've been determined to get some of my projects finished but I've still got loads on the go.
The results are in and I do not have Covid-19. I managed to avoid catching the highly infectious thing and in spite of vigorous handwashing and social distancing I seem to have caught something else instead. Blooming typical. I celebrated by going out for a walk into town and dealing with the latest first world problems of ds (we had run out of ketchup). I'm so pleased I could get out because I was shattered and desperate for a bit of fresh air and to do something before the weather got really bad. I had an awful sleep last night - most of the cats ganged up on me to make sure that I didn't sleep more than about 40 minutes at a time. I had a pretty bad headache when I gave up and got up at 7am, so today has been a day of sitting about and counting minutes until I can go to bed again. I've done a load of washing, washed dishes and the walk into town and that's about it. I'm still coughing and sneezing everywhere so still not very well. Top that with about 4 hours of sleep and I am not a productive human being at all. Feel lazy but I'm actually not well - that is my excuse and I am sticking to it.

Hi CCL - So glad it isn't the dreaded Covid. I name-checked you on m y own dfw diary earlier this afternoon & as I was typing, I wondered if you'd have heard about your test results yet.
But you know, you make a good point about having caught another lergy despite all the heightened awareness of infection risk, handwashing & social distancing. I'm assuming that someone has still managed to huff something over you or you have picked it up from a surface. Honestly, doesn't it just show how these things spread? I was only saying to Mr F this week, that I wondered if there would maybe less of a problem with norovirus later this year because of everyone, especially children, having had such an intensive lot of handwashing training throughout the spring & summer months.
Fancy having to go out again for ketchup, lol.......he wouldn't last 5 minutes in this house! All visiting kids can let me know in advance of 3 foods they'd be massively upset to find on their plate & I totally promise not to serve them, but if there are more than 3, tough! And I am very good at spotting all variations on the 'pushing it around the plate to make it look a bit like I'm eating it' methodology, lol, also the sneaky dropping of vegetables onto the floor. What a pesky auntie I am! (But I make up for it in home baked biscuits, cakes, Auntie Foxgloves' meatballs, home made fudge & puds!)
