Oops, sorry, I forget that it is on a sliding scale of how many kids you have. It is renewal (ish) time so the fun and games are about to commence again, Just before they will no doubt tell me we are over the threshold too, and I owe them money. Every year I think we will lose it, and every year I am surprised they still want to give it to me.

Hey
Thanks for thinking of me apple - I'm fine - been busy, and trying to enjoy the BH weekend in between everything else. I was lucky enough to get a tiny bit of paid work from the exam board last week so I had to find the time to add that into my own school work and the kids stuff as well. Needless to say it meant I had to work on Friday as well, and a couple of hours yesterday morning. I've also spent a bit of time offline just enjoying a bit of time with the kids, getting caught up on washing and house stuff then a lot of time in the garden, reading, learning my languages and enjoying the sun. It's been quite nice, apart from the little bit of hassle in terms of getting everything fit into a day and having to work over BH.
Also have spent a bit of time trying to avoid the news - it's starting to stress me out more than a little bit. I notice that school reopening is cropping up on a more and more regular basis and that's really stressing me out as both a parent and a teacher. I'll take my chances with lost education in order for me and the kids to be safe. Not that I ever trusted the government but every time I watch that briefing I just lose a little more faith, and become a bit more convinced that they just don't know what they're talking about. I don't know if it's head in the sand stuff or what but if I watch too much tv or spend so much time online I feel much worse than just sitting on a chair in the garden enjoying the sun with the cats... Not today mind, it's been raining since 4am.
I've had a rotten night of sleep - think I saw every hour on the clock last night. Gave up and got up at 6am and I've been doing a bit of crochet since then. I'm then going to watch a box set if I can find one I want to see while I'm doing a bit more house pottering - I need to dust (I am really missing my cleaner) and tidy the kitchen out a bit. Also need to get the kids (particularly ds) to put rubbish into binbags from their rooms and then into outside bin. There's a load of washing in the machine but no hope of outdoor drying today. I should do a couple of hours of work really as I'm falling behind but I think it might be more important that I nap today if I feel like it.

Every man and his dog has an opinion about what should be done with school, in a way that they do not do for transport, shops, offices... As f0xh0les says, that is what the unions are for, and they do at least seem to be all working together on this. Keeping off news and off tech is such a good thing to do.

Well I'm pleased I never listened to Boris much in the first place because I definitely have no clue what he's talking about now. I'm just going to carry on as I have been doing thus far - working from home, not visiting family and friends, keeping the kids in and only going shopping and to work when I have to. I'm going to let those that don't care take the risk and have their parties in the park and whatever. And I'm going to hold tight and see what the Unions say about return to work etc. I'm not entirely convinced that ds needs to go back to school (Year 6) - he's leaving that school for good in July and off to comp - he's not doing SATS or anything... what's the point in getting him back into school at all? Other than sending him in there like a canary in the mines. Thank God I am a scientist because I will continue to stay informed with the actual science and not the rubbish that the government are being told to say. I know that we have to keep an eye on the economy too - but if it's not safe enough to see family and friends, how can it be safe enough to go and work in a place where social distancing is not going to happen and PPE for all will not be practical or available. We all need a little plastic bubble to walk about in I think. I used to work on an oil refinery many years ago and had to wear Level A PPE, which is basically a whole body suit with an oxygen tank on your back and paper underwear because you sweat so much when you wear it. It was awful but I knew I was safe...
I had another rough night and thought I was up for the day at 5am with the cats but ds woke up so I got back into bed to help him get back to sleep and it was suddenly quarter past nine. So here I am with a stinking headache again, but I have had a busy morning and gotten lots done. The weather is utterly vile out there today - cold, raining and really windy but I will be venturing out on the daily walk after my meetings this afternoon. We need frozen potato products (not for me I hasten to add) and I will need to clear my head. I've done 2 hours of work, a load of washing and even remembered to ring the doctors and got a phone appointment within 30 mins (needed more anxiety meds so had to have a phone review). Just having a little break before my meetings start at 1 and will also need to change the cat litter as I somehow think they'll all want to be indoors today. In a real health kick I am having bread and butter pudding for lunch - the ladies on the weekly thread told me I didn't need cream to make it so I made some, and it's amazing but my kids were never going to eat it. It's a shame but I hate food waste...

One of our y6 kids suggested it would make more sense for the y5s to go back, because they are the ones who will be sitting entrance tests and the like in sept/oct. Much more sensible than sending in littlies and those who are moving on...

Yeah, like they lead you astray
I hoped you enjoyed it, I wish I liked it as it is the sort I would usually eat and a great dish for preventing food waste, but I don't like the texture.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
