That’s shocking, surely they must have something in place ? It can’t Judt be Tuxys missing ?Sealed pot challenge 822

Blimey cat that’s some additional annoyance you don’t need with the policy. Just stick to your guns and use the resolver tool on here if need be to raise a complaint with them formally if they don’t resolve in the next 48 hours. Assuming they’d not notified you the policy was cancelled they can’t just say it is because they didn’t migrate it over.Hope you feel better - have you tried some freshly squeezed orange juice. Not the long life stuff but the chiller stuff - I always find it makes me feel better when I have symptoms like yours. May just be placebo effect but works for me.9

Hello again...
Just passing the time until I go and pick NT2 up from the vet. Apparently it's all gone well - she recovered from her GA quite quickly and has been entertaining everyone at the vets with continual demands for cuddles, head rubs and tuna. They are in love with her - but so am I - she's been looking after me since Tuxy and I am waiting for a cuddle, if she forgives me for taking her there in the first place. My hand has another massive scratch from this morning's effort with the box.
Tuxy's insurance company rang me back. My policy expired end of Jan and on migration to the new system did not auto renew. Apparently this happened with anyone who had a renewal date of 1/2 of Feb. The girl on the phone was quite helpful but I will reserve judgement in the short term... the policy (along with Black Lady 1 who is insured at the same place) has been reinstated and I will have 2 payments for each this month. They will then deal with the claim and cancel Tuxy's policy for me. We shall see. I was in blind panic that it wasn't going to pay but she seemed fine about it and confident that everything would be fine... I suppose it was their fault that it wasn't there in the first place so I should expect to be reimbursed - think I just don't honestly believe something could go right for me for once.
I am exhausted - managed to sort out gammon and roast potatoes for dinner but nothing else. I'm just hoping that I can get back and get to bed nice and early and hopefully sleep some more of this rubbish off. Still feeling rubbish - but I think the only thing I absolutely have to do apart from pick NT2 up is to go in the shower. My cleaner has been today so house stuff is done, and I finally have a shiny new bathroom sink.
Almost forgot to mention that ds school place came in. We got his first choice so he'll be starting in Year 7 just as big sister goes into Year 11. He's chuffed to bits, and I am quite relieved that we got the space there. My place was second choice but it's just not that close to where we live, and he would still be reliant on me to get him to and from school in the morning.
Money wise. I have a bill to pay in about half an hour so I seriously doubt I'm getting a nsd but I haven't been shopping for anything else. I am determined that when I get home I'm going to do a bit of crochet on my mam's blanket. That's going to become an important thing for me I think. I have suggested voluntary work to her beanie - and I really hope that she decides to do it. She's also going to the Lakes at the end of the month and I think that will cheer her up a bit too...

So do I Beanie... The vets are chasing up the insurance for me, and refused to take any payment for NT2 tonight as they are going to put some of the procedure through on her insurance. The lump is gone, and she has a massive line of stitches. She's also had 3 teeth out and is on a lot of cat heroin and absolutely loving it. She's off her face, lording it over everyone else and judging us all but I am just thrilled to have her home.
I've started on my mam's blanket and had a shower. Just some washing up to do now and then I think I'll go to bed. My nose is very blocked.

Hello
Pleased to report that my physical health is on the up - my cold is on the way out and I appear to have regained some bladder control thank goodness. I'm relieved because it was really starting to get me down feeling so physically rubbish. Mentally I'm still not 100% but I do feel a bit better than I have done for a while. I need to try and get another early night and plenty of sleep, but today definitely has been better than yesterday...
NT2's test results came in and the lump was benign - we have been so very lucky indeed that the torties are both clear. Vet reckons more times than not a lump is a very bad thing... I'm pleased that I have my torties, and that NT2 is still my friend after everything I have put her through this week - operation, recovery vest, cone of shame, medication etc and she still is there for company and cuddles.
Not that much else to report - I'm playing catch up a bit in terms of finances and my life in general so I thought that I would just check in and say hello. In case people were wondering where I'd disappeared to - I'm just trying to reclaim myself.

Glad you are feeling better. Hope the insurance sorts itself out ok!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee10

I was in bed and asleep before 10 last night, yet somehow still woke up snotty and grumpy. The cough is just about gone but I've had a minor relapse moodwise, in spite of 8 hours of restful sleep. I won't pretend I know how that works but I was in a right grump when I got up this morning.
Work was about survival again. Problem with a problem child and an annoying member of staff (separately) nearly tipped me over the edge, but I have been very open about my mental health with my boss which I think has actually helped me. It was nice to leave a little earlier and the sun be shining - that really helps.
Took NT1 to the vet - she had her stitches out and has been given the all clear. So I am a happy bunny on that front. Less happy to see that there's still over £1800 outstanding at the vet - those insurance policies had better cough up very soon. NT2 is back there again on Monday for her post op check up. I would say that I would hope for that to be the end of it but I know that Kitten (not a kitten but what I call him) is due his annual check up so I need to fit that in somewhere as well. Ugh. These animals!
On top of that I suspect I may have been caught marginally speeding through roadworks today - genuinely not intentional. I was having a meaningful discussion with ds and realised I was just over the limit. Annoyed because I honestly don't speed... but if that's something else that happens then tough - I just need to suck it up and pay that as well. It was only a couple of mph but that's all it needs to be. Unless that is my paranoia again.
Not had much chance to relax and wind down - I've had a cuppa and my dinner and now I'm just sitting 'thinking about nothing' - time to rest a bit.
