Hi everyone
Still trying to get to speak to someone (anyone) at my doctor's surgery. I think it can be done over the phone - just a case of getting a callback when I'm not teaching, which isn't as easy as it sounds.
I'm shattered again today. Went out with a friend yesterday for a walk in the fresh air and her trying to prove to me how brilliant walking is for physical and mental health. We did 9km... and yes I did have fun but I didn't sleep any better last night, and have woken up this morning with some sort of injury to my right foot that's making it almost impossible to walk at the minute. So I'm more tired than usual and now grumpy as well because my foot is so painful. I thought that once I'd strapped it up in my Docs I would have enough support for it not to hurt but alas not.
A few things to do tonight before I can relax. Pick my shopping up from Mr A on the way home (I don't trust them with a delivery at all). Surprisingly I have managed to get a packet of toilet roll, but they have substituted ds crunchies with an alternative (no doubt unsuitable) product. People self-isolating must need much chocolate as well as sanitiser and loo roll.
Then I have to get NT2 back to the vet for her post op check up. I'm beyond fed up at how often I'm back and forth to the vet at the moment. NT2 is already on my naughty list though because she's found a new hiding spot that is so good that me and the kids spent a good couple of hours thinking she'd somehow escaped outside yesterday because she was nowhere to be seen. But there she was at half six this morning, standing on the kitchen table and demanding her breakfast. I've told dd if she can't immediately spot NT2 when she gets home tonight then she should let me know so I can move the appointment. Can't be bothered with the hassle of it all when I have a sore foot and am desperately tired.

Grocery pick up from Mr A - check.
Vet with NT2 - check. However - she's only blimming gone and gotten an infection in that wound so is now on hard drugs and antibiotics for the week ahead and we have yet another appointment at the vet next week. I would cry if I wasn't so numb.
Didn't manage to speak to anyone at my own doctors - will try and put it on the list again for tomorrow.

Can your admin staff at school hold a call back from the docs long enough to get you? Trying to get appointments at the best of times is hard enough but within a teaching day is nigh on impossible!
Sorry to read that NT2 has picked up an infection but good job they have spotted it now and are dealing with it.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

It certainly feels never ending - I will be honest. But I keep getting up and I keep trying. So hopefully I'll get a change of luck soon, or I'll be able to focus on the positive things instead of drowning in the other stuff.
It did all start fairly positively today - I managed to get NT2's antibiotics into her wrapped up in a little cat treat so that was a start. Determined to get back onto my healthy eating again as that has gone to !!!!!! over the past few weeks, and I was doing so well. So I came into work all prepped and ready to go.
Foot is a bit better than yesterday and whilst still quite painful - I can at least walk on it without too much hassle.
Remembered to ring the doctors during my free. I asked if I could just go back onto my medication - receptionist said that she would request it for me but I would probably need to see the doctor. I have an appointment in 2 weeks time - not ideal but better than nothing.
Can't get caught up on my schoolwork as the website that puts together my test papers is down - it was down all afternoon yesterday, then back up again for a while during my free so it's part done - but it's gone again now. I'm stuck at work until half four as ds is in a SAT's revision class so thought I'd catch up on here instead.
I've shuffled a bit of money about and managed to pay a bit more towards the cc so that feels a little better. I just wish it could all be gone now, but I'm getting thereNow I just need to survive here for another 40 mins, pick up ds, drive home, make dinner, get antibiotics and painkillers into the cat, attempt to get her into the vest of doom, have a shower, finish preparations for parents evening tomorrow night - then I can relax.
