CCL - Try not to overthink the wobbly tooth just yet. It may just come out on its own & be perfectly OK. That's what would happen in the wild. Of course there will be vet attention if it looks sore or there are any issues, but it's possible it might sort itself out.
Are you doing some crochet tonight? I think I'm going to try & get my sock progressed a bit. I didn't do so much at the weekend as was watching something with subtitles. Have you got snow up your way? Have heard it is snowy in up in your neck of the woods but my geography of that area is quite poor so it may be a county above or below where you are.
Have a cosy night.

We had quite bad snow when I got up this morning foxgloves - it was a bit of a treacherous journey in, but when I got closer to work it turned into just heavy rain. My friend a little further south than me got a snow day. However, it was bright sunshine by the time I drove home tonight... Strange weather
I think I will crochet a bit tonight - yes. I need to wind down a bit and relax if I can. I have been wound up for days now so I need to rest and have a bit of a break before I give myself a migraine. And I'm helping with interviews tomorrow so I need a break from work thoughts tonight.

In that case I am secretly hoping for snow for you, lots of snow days, to make up for the carp half term.

Sorry to hear about Tuxy.
We have to order lunches by the Wednesday before as well. They have to take packed lunch if you miss the deadline. I usually book my DS for half term as he's a creature of habit and likes to have the same things"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Oooh - I finally have some positive cat news to report.
I took both torties to the vet tonight. Naughty Tortie 1 needed her post op check up. Her stitches are healing well, and looking good, and the best news is that the analysis of the lumps has shown that they were benign. I am so relieved and so happy
Naughty Tortie 2 has a mess going on in her mouth. She is in quite a bit of discomfort with a few of her teeth so they are going to be done on Monday. She also had a lump on her back which I'd discovered and was fretting about it. Vet took a sample and says it's pure fat but she will remove it while she's on with the dental work - and not to worry about it at all. Bit more cost but that's par for the course now. She's still by my side all of the time, even though she really hated me trying to get her into the box - I have a few pretty nasty scratches to show for it as well... and I couldn't deal with any more bad cat news just now. I'm happy that things look to be evening out for now.
Not a nsd as I paid £7.65 for a painkilling injection for NT1, but saves me chasing her about with opiates in a syringe and trying to fire it into her mouth.
Other than that an incredibly busy day - I slept very well last night for the first time in a while... Then at work I spent the whole day involved in interviews. It was really good and I enjoyed seeing things from the other side. Hopefully we've made the right choices and will have a stable and experienced department for a while now. Still desperately lacking in physics and chemistry specialists but that's not a big surprise in any school these days . I'm also out tomorrow morning taking some kids to the town hall for a climate change event. I've missed teaching but I'll be back on with it by tomorrow lunchtime. Meantime I've enjoyed schmoozing with the senior staff in school.
I'm not going to stay as it's after 8pm and I still haven't done any relaxing at all. I really need a rest.

Pleased to hear those lumps & bumps were nothing more serious - though an expensive time, nevertheless. I've never had to claim on our current cat insurance, but our previous provider always paid out & even paid 50% of the costs of special diet cat food for a few months. I'm building a Meow Fund, however, because our cat is now reckoned to be 5 years older than we originally thought & that means higher excesses & also having to pay a % of any treatment on top of that. Current cat has cost us very little but he has a heart condition so we reckon he's saving up for the big one!
They are such a worry aren't they?

Evening - just a quick one from me tonight. I am really struggling with feeling tired and run down and as well as my mental health not being great my physical health has started to abandon me now as well... I've got an awful sore throat and some nasty earache going on. Just a cold, but I really cannot be bothered with it at the moment. I feel like it's just one thing after another - nothing major but lots of little things. The cats, the vet bills, appointments, money, budgeting, work, kids plus never ending things to do list. I feel like I'm falling behind a bit and can't seem to catch a break. I am beyond exhausted.
Yesterday I took some kids to town hall for a climate change conference so I was busy with that, then straight back into the teaching, then last night it was dd's parents evening straight after school. She is one amazing young lady - all of her teachers are so impressed with her. She is predicted top grades in English, and is most improved in her class in French, and also doing really well in all of her other subjects too. I'm so proud of her. It was almost 7pm when we got in though and I only had time for a shower and a crash out on the sofa after I'd given NT1 her painkillers. I was in bed by 10 and then woke up about 4am with a headache, sore throat and earache starting. Which has left me really run down for the day - and I have another full teaching day on a Thursday with a revision session after school as well. I'm shattered.
Got home tonight - I'd planned roast chicken dinner... (WTAF???) DD had put it in the oven for me and it took me about an hour to prep everything else. Tasty dinner and then I had a shower. I've sat down with the best of intentions tonight but I'm absolutely shattered again and still feeling rotten. I've got so much I need to do. The list is getting longer and longer but I cannot be bothered to do anything. I need to sort through the budget and find some money somewhere... And I can't be bothered to crochet either. I just want to sleep at the minute.
I think it's the money that's stressing me most at the moment - that and the cats... then my weight and current mental health. This weekend I will sort it all out.

There are some horrible viruses about at the moment CCL. I recognise the sore throat, headache and being totally wiped out, similar to what I have just had. Hope you feel better soon. Try not to be overwhelmed with worrying about everything - maybe just concentrate on what has to be done in the immediate term while you feel ill? Come to think of it, I have found that strategy to be useful over the years through some very stressful situations. You can't actually do all of it (whatever it is) but you can do bits of it, and that in itself is progress. It will all fall into place (some place or other) in time. Take care xx

Ugh - I am sick. I am full of snot with a sore throat, fuzzy head and earache. Yesterday was a bit of a struggle workwise, but thankfully we were doing #BeKind day and that was lovely. Lots of random acts of kindness which made it more pleasant, and lots of thankyou notes from staff and students - I got a few, and they really mean the world to me. It means so much to know that I'm appreciated.
DS was off school sick yesterday - not the same thing as me - he got diarrhoea and whilst he was well enough in himself I didn't want him at school spreading the love amongst his friends. As a result I was able to leave work a little earlier than I usually can (his school finishes later than mine) so was home by quarter past four. I promptly fell asleep on the sofa for 2 hours and woke up with a really dry mouth and a banging head. Managed a can of coke and some paracetamol. The kids had sorted themselves out for dinner - chicken goujons and chips obviously - but bless them.
Went to bed just after 10 then fell asleep and slept until half seven with a couple of get ups for the loo and a drink or to see to the cats. Whilst I still feel utterly disgusting, I do feel quite rested and therefore am determined to get on and get stuff done. I've updated my budget - my PPI payment arrived during the week and I have transferred that to the cc which I used to pay for NT1's op. Budget for March is already tight but I am definitely using YNAB and am going to pay for the year because I think it will be invaluable to help me get out of this mess. I am very stressed about it, but seeing the budget on the screen like that is very helpful and saves me the time and effort of setting something up in Excel or on paper - and we all know how time poor I am. Managed a little OP to cc as well with leftovers from Feb budget (for the first time ever)… Still no sign of my exam money arriving but I really want to use all of that to pay down the CC as quickly as possible. Not really onto paying for the divorce stuff yet as I'm still sorting out cat stuff.
Speaking of my divorce stuff, my copy of the court order arrived yesterday. I cried with relief, followed by frustration at my not being able to sort the mortgage quickly, but I am sorting it at leastEvery time I get knocked down I get back up again and will continue to do so.
Have also been neglecting my planner, diet and crochet so part of today's plans include getting on with those as well. I have a long list of crochet stuff I need to do (2020 appears to be quite the baby year among my friends and colleagues) so want to get some of that done. I will need to do a small amount of school work at some point, and do the housework as well - I've done one load of washing already and will get the next one in shortly. Today's dinner is chicken curry using leftovers from Thursday, and I will also make sure that I get a nap in if I need it.
Have a good day out there, and stay safe in the next storm. We have been very lucky in terms of rainfall so far but looks like we're in for a battering with the wind.
