Hope your quote goes well.I think writing down goals as you are doing really helps to stay focused, and I hope you achieve your dreams...As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Started the day with cleaning and doing some washing. Up early.
The bathroom guy has come and gone. I can expect a quote next week. I like him. We shall see re price.
Going back to my long term goals really helped me. My overall goal is to move. I must keep this in mind.
Three houses have sold on my street this year so no problem with the area
It made me realise I don’t need a new bathroom. But I do need to be comfortable before I sell and I deserve a decent bathroom. I also need to have a bathroom that doesn’t put buyers off even if they do change it they probably won’t want to have to do so immediately.
I approached this quote with this in mind.
I am not going with a new bath and sink, but instead a new solid bath panel, new taps, a shower, new tiling, flooring and an extractor fan. This will greatly reduce the cost and I can use the savings elsewhere in the house.
Work goal : 20 things applied for to support my creative process.
Form posted for referee
House goal: 20 new home improvements (1-2 a month)
Text to possible plasterer
Bathroom quoted for
I need to get some creative work done today so off to make a late breakfast/brunch then get on with it
Wishing you all a good day

Sounding good DIA , and you are focused as always 😼
I was potless, when I sold my flat . Then the B word happened ..Still got there in the end
The only thing I would advise when paying for the bathroom , is to pay a bit at a time and as soon as the bathroom guy needs more money then pay him as and when .
What I liked about James was he emailed me a quote ,and also various designs that I wanted and it was straightforward . When he needed funds, I went down to my bank and transferred funds as and when .One of the guys I saw built Rome in a day , and wanted 50% up front .I'll leave it there ..4 -

Sounds a sensible way forward on the bathroom. We replaced the floor for one that was memorable (vinyl on plywood) so it would stand out on estate agents photos. We swapped a radiator for a towel radiator which looks nice but doesn't give off a load of heat but a buyer probably wouldn't know that. Ideally we would replace the sink for one with an inbuilt cupboard but think that is all I would do in practice...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
