After a 4 hour sleep I had a hospital day! Lots of stress and travelling on the hottest day of the year. Add in wearing a mask for lots of the day. Hey ho. What fun. Great to see relative who is putting up a good fight. Made my day.
I helped with giving some money to family member. So good to be able to help a little and not have to stress because I have my essential costs covered. When I go next week I will cook and take some meals in those microwaveable dishes to make it easier to reheat. This will be just as useful and cheaper!
The house is a mess again and this time quite bad. Whoops. I will be cleaning and organising today. I will be cooking veggie soup too. I am meeting a friend later so looking forward to that. I will cycle. It is quite a distance so I hope it doesn’t exhaust me.
I dreamt the neighbours posted documents through my door about their extension and I couldn’t understand the paperwork. So it is obviously on my mind. I tried 3 tradesmen recently and none have delivered the goods. I really liked the plumber I saw last but he had work until October so did not bother with my quote. That said I do gain valuable information with each quote…
I need to start organising new quotes. House progress has stalled.
Have a good day everyone

Hope things are okay with your relative in this turbulent time DIA
You still seem to be doing loads
Hope the day with your friend goes well.Don't forget that you can't do everything at once , when it comes to doing housework and the rest of your business that your ploughing through .
Not sure if you can hang on till October for bathroom , if the chap you saw feels like the right person . If he's booked up till then , it's a sign of a good tradesperson . Just a thought
Everything is still going to plan , and you'll get there .Enjoy the weekend 🌵🌴💦💦🌧😼5 -
I agree with AC - I believe you can do anything - you just can't do everythingI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Thanks everyone
I made good progress with house organising/cleaning yesterday. It is still a mess but less of a mess. I will keep going over the weekend.
So glad today is cooler. The past few days have been a bit much, especially as I have been travelling to meet people.
Stopped at PO and returned items.
I did a shop today and (I kid you not) a man lifted his mask so he could sneeze! Yuk! On the whole most people socially distanced but not everyone. I hate shopping in supermarkets right now. Popped into the paper shop. Won't go there again. Not enough space to socially distance. Glad to be home.
I nearly bought meat and remembered just in time that I am not eating meat anymore, so I put it back. The plan is plant based which is possible but takes more organisation if you want to eat well and dislike fake food replacements.
Happy weekend everyone

From my vegan kids - not all fake meat products are to be avoided - they are plant based, they do give you a taste you like, they just don't involve anything dying.
That said there is definitely vegan junk - I'm sure you will be able to tell the differenceI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Today is fresh outside. I quite like it as the humidity was difficult.
For the first time in...? I woke up to an empty kitchen sink. Yay. Getting there with the housework! Will keep going...
Two items purchased. Original cost £198. Paid £60. Hope they fit well.
The plan for today includes identifying four tradesmen. I can then call them tomorrow.
Going to do some job/work today too.
Financial reconciliation to be done to get ready for July.
