Thanks @mark88man might try that recipe
Thanks @another_casualty you should be okay in the heatwave as if I remember you have a posh fan and plus you are out of the city
Thanks @savingholmesToday I am pushing through on an application. It isn’t finished as my energy is low. I am breaking it down into 30 minute sessions so will get it done within the next few days.
I made a difficult call re finances but it was the last call I needed to make on this matter.
I spent hours reading up on financial issues. It made me feel stressed to be honest. I should have gone for a walk but it was too hot. The heatwave hasn’t hit yet either. So pleased I bought the fan earlier in the year.
I will be relaxing this evening.
I hope to achieve more tomorrow, but time will tell.

Hi there DIA,
Time has flown again!! Working on a rota means that I rarely have 2 days in a row off. Didn't think it would matter so much, but it does. Staying at home has meant that I get so much more done though with less use of the car.
You have really made some progress this month. I know it's hard sometimes and I do the 30 minute, 15 min burst technique too to get my brain started. Funny how we rarely celebrate our progress, however slow and always look at the next thing or the things we haven't done.
You are gradually eating those frogs.
Glad you are gradually meeting up with other people. We've been away from everyone for so long. Managed a socially distanced,in the garden BBQ with friends last Sunday. Felt odd driving to their house and not able to hug them goodbye. How quickly we adapt.
Off to bed now, well getting ready. Someone recommended Matthew Walker and How to sleep. Listened to a few podcasts/talks of his on You Tube and it really is an eye opener. Experimenting with being caffeine freeish and going to bed and getting up at the same time. Very interesting.
Take care everyone xxx5 -
Hope you enjoyed some self care. I agree with Mrs Boo Boo - too often we cross something off our list and add 3 more. We need to be kinder to ourselves.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hello, I am echoing and agreeing others re self care, and not celebrating what we achieve.
i open try to achieve things in small bites - 30 mins on an application then a break, is something I’ve always tried to do when doing a report or an assignment etc.
