I woke up super duper early. I finally got up at 5am. It was nice washing dishes whilst watching day break. The dawn chorus is much quieter than when I moved in this house. Trees have been cut down and extensions have gone up. I’m looking forward to a louder dawn chorus when I move…Dishes X2
Prepped soup
Marinated chicken
A batch of haricot beans cooked (will make baked beans, keep some for salads and freeze some)
Washing
Cycle ride
SM shop
Weekly menu planning done
The SM had organic chickens with 30% off. There were loads of them, so I bought 3 and have 2 in the freezer.
Yesterday I picked up 2 boxes outside a plumbers shop and packed another 2 boxes of books. I have so many books!
Yesterday I decluttered some old tools and a few books.
The bursary is great but I now need to deliver my end of the deal so this weekend will be prepping work. MF prompted me to get my study back in use. It didn’t take a lot but the desk legs needed fixing.
Bad weather on its way so happy to stay in and work on my project this weekend. I am grateful for my bursary but hard work is required from me now. The work I do is weird. It is frustrating and joyous, tiring and exhilarating. I better get started…
Hope you all having a lovely Saturday
