Have a think about the recent weather as cold, damp, rain, blue sky, clouds all alter pain levels, it may even be something you've eaten which has triggered a change.
We're now in 'sprinter' spring is knocking on the door and winter is packing a suitcase.
Everything seems to result in an indemnity being requested, rather than a sensible view of what it is. However it stems from how easy people lodge complaints and a lot of bum covering to avoid it.

Oh my goodness @doingitanyway - I go away for a few months *ahem...six* and come back to catch up on all that you've achieved! I can't believe how much you've done in the last six months, probably more than you thought possible.
It sounds like you've got some exciting times coming up with your big move. I think you're so brave to take on such changeI'll look forward to keeping up with how you're getting on.

its a gloomy time of year at the best of times, so a few aches and pains (mental and/or physical) are to be expected. but spring is about to be sprung and the snail's pace that everything seems to happen at these days will eventually get you to where you want.
I think I agree about Scotland - lovely place to visit, but a truly major upheaval to achieveI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Yesterday I worked for several hours again. It felt good to have a focus and to achieve something. The application I did the day before got me fired up. If successful, I will have access to someone I hugely admire and support to improve my work. Usually there is a price barrier of thousands of pounds. Just thinking about this excites me and takes my focus away from house sale stress and body pain.
My relative needs help again. Not this week, but soon. I need my joints to be ok so I can help her. Luckily she has had the vaccine so I don't have so much fear about taking her the virus. There is a near empty train I can take into the city. I will take my bike and cycle to her home.
My internet is still not great but it is better in that I can use it more. I phoned them this morning to request a refund. I will be getting a £20 credit next month. Assuming I move the contract will be broken so that will help offset the cost.
Today I will be doing the usual decluttering, cooking (smoked mackerel salad and leek and potato soup today) cleaning, sorting in the house. I will also do a few hours work. If I am successful in that application I need to be ready. If I am not it acted as a spur to action so win-win.
I need to get out for a walk today at some point as I didn't go out yesterday...
My tech frog today is to pair the noise cancelling headphones with the phone.

It's not an upheaval moving up here but DIA's plans of holidays are a good compromise with practical living and breakaways.
Maybe keep a food and heath diary for a month. Log everything you eat drink and what time, plus when you notice any changes with your joints and pain. Whittle down the possible culprit and then do food elimination. It could be a spice or something which doesn't react well with you.
Keep de-cluttering and packing and work on the basis that at any time you could be asked when you want to exchange and complete.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.8 -
Thanks @mark55man I don't like to say too much about it on here but I have an inflammatory condition that gets triggered sometimes, so it isn't usual aches and pains, that as you say are to be expected.
Thanks @MovingForwards I do look at what I have eaten but your idea is stricter so I think I will do it.
Re decluttering, I don't have boxes so this is holding me up. I will try and resolve this today. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks @Sunshine_girl2
Aches and pains do stop me sometimes but not often. Usually I can cycle and at home hold onto things for support. Anyway, today much better at last.
I heard back from the application. I am so excited as I got the bursary
Relative is a bit more stable. Considering her prognosis she is doing well.
