Thanks @savingholmes
Great time had with friend. I cycled to the meet place so I think the exercise did me good too.
Today I woke up feeling stress. No internet for the best part of 24 hours. I called the provider and 'let loose' after holding on for ages and speaking to 4 different people. I wanted to cancel. After I calmed down I accepted a credit to my account and new connectors free of charge. Internet back as you can see but so this on and off is so very stressful when I already feel stressed.
I finally opened the phone only to discover I need a power adaptor as it doesn't come with one. Annoyed at spending a fortune for a phone that I can't charge. Calmed down again and ordered one. Friend ordered me a s1m so nearly there...
Changed some payments after cancelling an account and that resulted in a bit of chaos too. Documents scanned and hopefully sorted.
I haven't had coffee today as didn't want to add to the arrghhh feeling. Sticking to camomile
Chased solicitor and then EA as as far as I can see we should be almost ready to exchange...
Spent time putting things away and tidying up so the mess can't add to my stress levels.
Will carry on tidying. Off to make a calming cup of camomile and burn some relaxing oils. Maybe a candle too...
Hope everyone is more relaxed than me today. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Glad you had a good time with friend.Glad that you're putting your foot down regarding broadband . 🦶It's annoying when you are passed to various depts and have to keep repeating yourself . 😾
I have a slower broadband these days . Noticeable , but only for short periods .
Annoying about the mobile 📱. If it's 🍏, that doesn't surprise me . They are trying to sell their charger which is magnetic and you put the phone on top of it . I think that you can use your old charger from your previous phone . If it's not an 🍏phone then I'm just rambling .Tbh, I think that you are going to be edgy until your contracts are exchanged . The land registry question has come late in the day but hopefully ( and probably ) it's nothing to be overly concerned about and you can put that behind you .Don't overdo it now ,you are doing really well DIA . Have coffee ☕️when you want , and anything else .You're still making great progress ...7 -

Having no charger is a fairly new thing as most people end up with a bag full due to upgrading every two years.
If your internet is still hit and miss over the next few days, call them again, ask them to run a test to find out where the fault is and then demand it's fixed.

Hi there DIA.
Weekly check in to see how things are going.
Glad you got your broadband sorted. So easy to ring and get fobbed off all the time. Ours has gone down a few times recently, but come back again so assume they were working on it. Local Facebook page comes in handy when it happens to a few. Keep meaning to swap sometime, but a bit scared. The computer man mentioned that our router was very old when he came last time.
Move sounds like it is ticking along. Such a stressful time. Keep going you'll get there.
Soup can be a bit hit and miss with the colour. I once made watercress soup and it came out bright green. Got ribbed at work as it apparently reminded someone of an alien film where something similar came out of the alien's mouth!! Cheers.
Was wondering about the sunrise clock. Got a new phone recently and it has a gentle light wake up as part of the alarm. It also has a dimmed screen mode which can be set overnight. Am not the least technical either so easy to set. I have a M-rola.
Friend's birthday on Monday so going to make some cup cakes and drop off a pressie & card on Sunday. Have a student with me, but he has had to self isolate so am also dropping off a laptop so he can work from home. Luckily they both live close by.
Need to crack on. Spend far too much time on t'internet. Going to do a Lucy Wyndham-Read workout on You Tube. Her workouts are great. They range from 3 mins to 20. Loads to choose from. Do 7 mins in the morning before getting ready for work. Like her style as she is gently persuasive rather than boot camp.
No running today as it looks a bit grey & grim.
Want to make a fabric mask too. Have material and patterns, but not made time to do yet.
Also prep veg from delivery yesterday.
Sorry hijacked your diary. Really enjoy reading.
Take care

I hope your house sale progresses well DIA. My sister is in a similar position as she has a buyer for her house but can't find a suitable house in the location she wants to move to, but she can stay with a relative for a while so I'm sure it will all get sorted eventually.
I think low mood is very common at the moment due to lockdown, the bad weather, etc. I've definitely been having the January blues this month and will be glad to see the back of this month. But the days are getting longer and spring is a bit closer so we must hang in there.
Olives are a good snack I think. I haven't touched alcohol since losing my mum two and a half years ago as it makes me melancholy and I feel much better for abstaining. I was craving chocolate just now but there's none in the house, so I've just had some olives and that has helped a lot.
