Midlife Musings and Measurable Goals

I cleaned my bedroom of dustballs under the bed that made me cough in the night!
More clothes decluttered. One of the dresses still had the label on…Nice thing is I found a pyjama top in the ‘too small now’ pile and it fits now
I was a bit spendy yesterday but it was all necessaries so not going to beat myself up...
I spoke to a friend yesterday. It’s funny, this is a friend who goes into hyper details about things sometimes. I know this and I am usually patient but I am not patient right now and it felt painful. I cut the call short and then felt guilty…I sent a text after to say I am sorry and my sleep is poor at the minute so not very sociable. She sent back kisses so I think I am forgiven. I think we have to be forgiving of each other in these strange times maybe
Still a bit low but I got up and got busy. Easy to do as the house is a tip. So:
dishes X3 (I know)
daily soup made
stock made
chicken and veg curry made
washing done and out drying
salad made
washed hair
Happy Saturday everyone

Snow! Snow!
My walk with a friend is not going ahead but I hope to crunch through the snow tomorrow as I have a parcel to return to the PO. I will be careful as any accidents will have to be dealt with by the overwhelmed NHS!
Obviously a cold day so staying tucked up in my bedroom.
I made a rare failure in the soup maker. Looked like brown sludge and tasted muddy, but I ate one bowlful as it was hot. Roasted veggies and chicken tray bake prepped. Looks pretty (purple cauliflower, orange pumpkin, red pepper, red onion and courgette)
I have had a NSD weekend
I should really wait to order in boxes for packing until I exchange contracts, but I will probably do this tomorrow. I have designated a room to hold all the stuff to move. Yesterday I got to grips with bags and shoes.
My mood is on the up and sleep is back to normal (thank goodness) I am still planning on buying the sunlight alarm next month. I'd buy it now but don't have enough left in January's budget. Whoops.
I hope everyone is safe and warm.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Glad you are feeling better DIA 😼
Dont forget that you are doing so much ontop of normal circumstances as , buying and selling your home is beyond stressful at times .In a few weeks , the mornings will be getting brighter, but that sunlight lamp will become useful in the future if not immediate .You're still doing very well ..5
