Morning all
Grr, ended up waiting in all afternoon for someone to pick up an item at a time they suggested (yesterday after lunch) only to have them tell me later that they had to work and could they come late at night. No they couldn't  Why did they say they would come at a time when they had to be at work? Really fed up with FB selling sites, so many messers! Anyway, not sure if they will get back to me today. Hopefully not! Deleted the item plus the other two I had listed - going to give it a rest for a while. Life is too short. In fact I am going to give FB a rest full stop. I don't engage much, but it is nice to keep in touch with a few friends I used to work with, and family we don't see often, but apart from that, it always seems to be full of people outraged about something or other :rotfl:
I at least got my budgets more or less sorted out for 2020, as I couldn't move far from the front door.
Today I must:
Do the housework Done, some, but sadly lacking on motivation
Post an ebay item Done, walked with dog and OH as it was pleasant this morning, free exercise and no fuel used
Ironing, only a few bits, butDone
Peg out last load of washing done yesterday Done, now on airer as it didn't dry much
Not spend anything - unless I can find some decent reduced Christmas cards in town when I go to post the parcel Plenty of Christmas cards, but none reduced. Obviously people are still paying full price for them?? Not me. So nothing spent except for the ebay postage, and the buyer has paid for that.
All food from home - my shopping list only has 2 items on it still Done, had soup for lunch and a gratin made from leftover cooked veg and a thick slice of ham (doesn't sound very prepossessing, but it is a Hugh FW recipe and is delicious) for dinner.
My brother turned up to pick up his washing, so I gave him some of the HM Christmas pudding (that didn't get eaten on Christmas day) to take back with him. It has been cooked so only needs heating in the microwave. OH and I had some for afters, and there is enough left for a small portion each for tomorrow. Gradually getting through the leftovers

Morning everyone
Last day of 2019 and I think it's a year I'll be glad to leave behind. The last kick in the teeth was Neil Innes passing away (I was quite a fan. It would have been nice to see him gig again. I saw him with The Rutles this year.)
Last mse list of the decade
:heartpuls B/L from stores
:heartpuls Check PMP
:heartpuls Dinner at MIL's
:heartpuls Ask bus driver for cheapest ticket instead of buying two
:heartpuls No drinking and no staying up. Will start the new year as I mean to go on
Have a good one all

Morning frugal pals. How annoying dawn, some folk are just strange.
My list for today:
General tidy round and get the house back to some sense of normality
Check banking
Put some tickets we were gifted away safe so we know where we are when we need them
Meals from stores, no shopping here either despite a couple of things on the list
Lots of washing to go away, shan't be ironing at all :A
Walking to our friends for a couple of hours later, will take a bottle as a gift for them but from home so no cost.
Aiming for a nap at some point between housework and out too
HNY everyone, hope 2020 is happy, frugal and healthy for us all. Purps.0 -

Yesterday we decided to have a quiet day at home, so no money spent, nobody felt like a cooked meal which made it even easier, there will be no food wastage as the meal had already been prepared and was in the freezer, which is where it will stay until it reappears on a future meal plan.
For Christmas, we jointly received a cooperative adventure role-playing game. The plan when normality hits is to play an hour or two every weekend, a brilliant way to spend time just the 4 of us. So far we have played for about 6 hours, whilst enjoying festive food and nibbles. It has been lovely with much laughter, discussions both about the game and various other subjects, ds even felt compelled to hug dd
Later we are going to friends to play games, we may stay to see the new year in or we may come home early.
Today's plans:
Pmp etc
RM survey Done, I've prepared all the items available for 2020, the first is to a friend, I need to pass their house to get to the postbox :rotfl:
Set up a new way to record spends Done
Check bank accounts
Make porridge
Make bread
Tidy up my email accounts
Quick hotspot clear in all rooms downstairs
Dry a load of washing on the airer, as usual, It is wet outside
Turn off lights not in use, people around here seem to have forgotten how to turn them off, turned 8  off yesterday
We have run out of milk, I might walk down and get some or I might wait until the new year.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
