  • Hi! Flew much more than I intended today due to mud fest in the hall kitchen and living room. They’d been cleaned 2 days ago :rotfl:
2 lots of washing, cleaned walking boots and about to tackle fridge.
First walk of 2020 done and dogs showered. Idiot dog is trying to cuddle up to me now to dry off ........
I will probably sleep fitfully tonight as it’s back to the paid stuff tomorrow :(

    Take care
    Hugs where wanted

    New Year fluttering has included:
    fed the birds
    put out the rubbish
    put out cardboard for recycling

damn - I need to put the bins out for emptying tomorrow - back in a minute …..

bins put out ready for emptying tomorrow :D
dismantled & recycled last year's calendars
    unwrapped this year's calendars
    put mixers in the fridge
    put drinks in the cupboard

    started to read a book
    watched 'Jumanji' :rotfl:

No washing done as somewhere in the back of my head if you wash on New Year's Day you wash your luck away. Now I will happily walk under ladders and stand on cracks - but I'm not risking it today :o

DS and GF have disappeared back to pigpen-land and will be back for the weekend.

Mr C00p in the village was closed today so I went to the one in the next village where I don't go so much anymore and I redeemed all my dividend points = half price shop :money: So that is that little job ticked off :)

Waiting for Dr Who to begin - back to work tomorrow. The paid stuff hokey kokey's last verse :)

    Enjoy your evening ladies

  • Oh dear, sad to say I've "washed my luck away" today. Thankfully, not superstitious so I don't think it'll be a problem.

Happy New Year to you all; it's a fresh and clean one so hope it is right for you all in the various ways you need it.

We don't do NYE, so I did a cooked brekkie and a slow-cooked meal with a Christmas Pudding for afterwards, instead.

I'll check tomorrow's list in the morning, but I don't think there's much from it I need to do for various reasons.

Well in between the 3rd string of fairy lights and the last bauble on the left, I unearthed the long time mia guag. The dining room has had a thorough cleaning after last night’s NYE shenanigans. It unfortunately showed that I have been making do with desperate S&S for the last few months all over the house. Cobwebs up the walls and on the ceiling....The utility room is on tomorrow’s list as that has suffered the same fate.

I have well and truly washed away any good luck as I have done wm x 3. The ironing pile is toppling. Another tomorrow job.
Glitter is still rearing its head around the house despite being attacked today. No doubt it will still be there come the summer.

Hope it's OK if I lurk. I used to get the flylady emails but, with no one checking in / giving me a push, they have been ignored and I don't seem to get them anymore. I've read the last couple of weeks posts and the post explaining everything. Still a bit baffled, but I'm going to fly by the seat of my pants and start. Also on the decluttering 2020 page. (can you tell I'm in need!)

    Morning all

Back to work for me and DH today. We had a lovely meal last night and then kitchen and dining room were given a thorough clean as I managed to smash a plate and the bits went everywhere!!

Good job I’m not superstitious as I did washing, washing up and took rubbish out yesterday... WM is loaded again and will be started shortly, I will also do my dailies before logging on to see how much work awaits in my emails...

Have a good day all, hugs to those in need x

    Morning :hello:

Back to the paid stuff today (again). My last full day in the office with MM and I'll be sorting things out for the move tomorrow between taking / making calls. Oh and I'm covering for a colleague on A/L today and tomorrow too. Could be busy!

I've made my bed and I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off for work.

I am NOT keeping a very nice tin that had biscuits in :T Recycling fling :D

  • Morning all,

Had a good sob again late last night, feeling ok this morning, this rollercoaster is going to be bumpy!

It's still pitch black here, I have unloaded DW and made the kids breakfast. Will take the dog out as soon as it's light and post a letter on the way. On today's self care list is ringing the doctor to try and get an appointment (how likely will that be :rotfl::mad::rotfl:) and book myself in for a massage next weekend. I have a voucher and would normally have put it off for months - not now.

    Take care all xx
  • Didn’t do a list for yesterday, just a quick wipe down and vacuum everywhere. Other than that I spent a lovely lazy day reading, crocheting and watching films with the kids

Put away any unwanted gifts to use as presents next year

    Extras
