    Car washed.

Mum 'helpfully' texting me phone numbers for family members - I've lost all my contacts - but I'm finding it hard to copy just the number from the text to save. Ah well.
Rabbit hutch cleaned, understorey swept out, refilled. Dishes/bottle washed.
Car washed. Rabbits back in garden having been confined to their run while I was car washing.
Clematis cut down and green binned (quite woody). Rose runner that I have been fighting for over 20 years cut down again (cannot dig roots out as there's a hedge). Leaves removes from border along with some spreading grass. Not all of them. Been over the road to remove pizza box from green. (We have a grassed area across the road with 4 large trees - maples/sycamores so I have a lovely outlook) I assume someone had put it in recycling. Well it's in my black bin now as they are not recyclable due to being contaminated. I have, over the last couple of days, collected a few bits of rubbish which I assume someone had tried to recycle, none of which is actually recyclable.

Had a ham cob (bap/roll?) for lunch along with xmas cake.

    Washing on line.

Next job - vacuum car and then check oil etc.

I hope you're all ready for the first full list of 2020 muhahahahah

    Afternoon all

    Everybody seems very busy!

In the BadCat house we got up, saw it was a nice day so made a pack up and headed out for a walk! Tired now but it blew the cobwebs away, just scraped about 2 tons of mud from my boots LOL.

    Since getting back I have...

Made stew for tomorrow’s supper, it’s in now and smelling delicious already
Bins and litter trays emptied and washed, litter trays refilled
    Wm set to swish
    Yesterday’s laundry folded and away
Ironing set to one side for DH to do later
Quick vac of ground floor rooms

I just need to put the laundry on the airers when done, reload the machine for tomorrow, then i am going to read for an hour before doing supper.

Have a good afternoon, hugs to those in need x

Dizzy Weimaraners are almost always high-maintenance.:o

I am at least on top of the washing. And I have a good excuse for not cleaning the bath, as there's an A-frame of said washing over it.

Last September, I started an "events journal" to keep tabs on when things happen that require sorting, and how long it takes people to return calls, reply to things, etc and so on.

So my latest entry is thus:
    3 January 2020
Inside handle on front door broke as Peter was shutting door. Something inside has snapped. Peter rang the double glazing company who fitted the door; they will “raise a call” and get back to us. Meanwhile, if we want to go out, we must
    1. Exit house via back door and gate.
    2. Unlock and open front door from outside.
    3. Go back in via back gate and door, locking them behind us.
    4. Exit front door, which was left open, shutting and locking it behind us.
    5. Reverse the process to get back indoors – hoping to goodness the outer handle remains operational.
On a happier note, Sunny and Peggy have booked their stay with us for next New Year. :D

Lamewolf - are you not a priority person for such issues given your situation? (if not, might be worth mentioning as I would think you need to be able to 'escape' as easily as possible?).

Car vacuumed, sills wiped, levels checked. Screenwash took almost a whole pint jug, rest goes into an old WUL bottle for top-ups (so no waste)

Vacuumed emptied, brush bar de-fuzzed, trappy thin thing brushed, filter cleared, banged then brushed too.

    Washing drying beautifully on line.

Peter has, at my behest, informed them that he is a pensioner and I am disabled; whether it will make any difference, I don't know.
I just hope it's fixed before our next canine guest arrives.
