    Happy New Year
Hope you are all well. Wishing each and everyone of you health, wealth and happiness for 2020.

I'll be in on Monday tail between my legs, ready for a mule or two getting thrown my way. My house is like steptoes back yard again.

    Morning all.

No flying done by me yesterday. I did paid stuff and one dog walk. DH kept on top of dailies.

Just me and DH here all weekend. There has been talk of cleaning the cars but we'll probably find a reason not to. Sofa covers are in the wm as the dogs are away.

    Have a great day everyone.

  • Good morning, all!
First Saturday of the year, we've made it this far.

Today's plan; pick up food for the week and finish our 7-day snagging report for the house.

    Have a good weekend, all.

    Morning all

Yesterday I stripped the bed and managed to line dry that and another load. Apart from paid stuff, dailies and remaking the bed not much more flying done. Today’s plan

    Washing
    FUPA laundry from yesterday
    Food shop
    Shop for carpet
    Shop for bedroom furniture

See what else I have time for after that...

See you later, have a good day x

    Morning all

Wm is on but apart from that I am faffing about. I am playing taxi for DD later this morning so I need to start something soon or the day will be gone.

Right - I’m off to sort a box or 3 that have landed in the back bedroom( the ex RoD that is threatening to re-emerge as its former self...). Also to do:
Clean through LR now that Christmas has been firmly shut in the loft.
Clean hall and stairs - ditto above.

Wm just finished - more washing to get dry indoors.

    Have a lovely day all.

Guess what! We can't clean the cars because it's read a book day now that the dailies are done.

Today I am off to pick up a s/h phone from my friend as my i phone (also s/h) has finally decided to stop working. I may well have lost ALL my contacts! We'll see.

Need to finish my bedroom cleaning as am applying Parkinson's Law instead of proper time management.

    Hello

Moved all my IT equipment etc to HO yesterday and set it up ready for Tuesday morning. No more Monday morning blues :j No more MM :D

Last night I took two bottle bags and two gift bags upstairs to put in the stash ready for next Christmas, and I put a bottle of vodka (a birthday present given to DS) in the cupboard. Every little helps :D

Plans for the weekend have gone awry as DS, who has been full of cold since New Year's Day, started with D & V in the early hours. Today's birthday lunch with L is postponed; lunch with Dad tomorrow is cancelled; and I've advised DS's Dad to keep away - no point in passing lergies on when it's avoidable. L's husband and my Dad are both vulnerable to lergies so we'd rather be safe than sorry!

I've made my bed; fed the birds; emptied the kitchen bin, rinsed and recycled a number of cans; recycled cardboard boxes , a plastic bottle and the Christmas TV magazine, and brought down the laundry hamper. Not much but I've also been making phone calls / sending texts to cancel plans, and spent time with DS. He may be 27 but he still needs Mammy's sympathy when he feels ill :D

I've offered to take GF home but she wants to stay here. YL - I was quietly relieved as it would have meant driving through the middle of Hull

It would have been a good day to get washing dry outside but I'm all behind now. I need to rethink meals for the weekend as GF and I need food even if DS is currently at the 'never eating again' stage. I think I'll continue to bumble - putting bits and bobs away as the fancy takes me, and read a book with Jazee :)

    Thanks for the company round.

DH has cleaned the fridge and we've also done an inventory of freezers and cupboards. Have made broccoli and Stilton soup with leftovers.
