    I
I am spending too much time sleeping / dozing at the moment and not enough time doing useful things :o

If you're dozing then that's what you need to do.

ASB - it's a kind of mourning - the future you thought you were going to have isn't the future you're going to have, and it's scary. You can get through this and you will (((hugs)))

All today's damp washing has been ironed and is airing on the maiden. Pots washed; DW filled; washer ready to run.

    Hi all

Thank you for the thread, I’m in again. No flying done here yesterday, we went to London for the day, it wasn’t particularly late when we got back but I was pooped after all the walking! Have woken early with a scratchy throat and a bit of a headache, am sitting with a warm drink in the hope it will ease.

Our trip on Sunday to look for furniture didn’t lead to a purchase, but we now have a better idea of what we want and what will fit... the stuff that was there before was a bit of a make do effort so if I am buying new I want it to be right this time!

ASB some wise words from the others, I too have been there, it was hard and scary and I didn’t have little ones to think about. You will get through it. Sending my support your way x

My plan for today needs to involve some time in the garage. We need to clear some space for the bathroom tiles and things which will start being delivered next week. Not looking forward to that job but needs must...

We’ve planned our special meal for this evening so need to make time for that, not sure what else I will do yet.

Have a good day, back later with progress report x

Morning all. Hope you're all ok ok and hugs where needed.

I won't be doing much flying today as I'm taking the dogs to the beach for a walk.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning :hello:

Had a lovely meal at the village pub last night nom nom :D

YL I hear you xx The biggest worry I have about working from HO starting next week is turning right on to the main road through town at 4.30 each evening. I have come up with an amazing number of alternatives which begin with turning left - but most would then involve going up a steep hill - and what if it's snowing or icy? Heyho - the joys of being us, eh? :D

I'm [STRIKE]as[/STRIKE] ready for work [STRIKE]as I ever will be[/STRIKE]. I've made my bed and I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off. Groundhog Day :D

Have a good day. Thank you all for your support this year. I'd be lost without you.

    It’s afternoon already??

Chopping, peeling and prepping for feeding a tableful this evening. Pulling the trusty old sc into action. Furniture has been moved along with the piles of carp that were hiding on / behind / around the furniture. I hear you loud and clear Frodders about hating your house. In truth, I don’t think I actually hate our’s, I just hate that I can’t get it sorted and tidied. Valli mantras are back on track, and being spouted at everyone when they leave things lying around.

Hugs to you all - especially YL and ASB - even to you Piggers although you hate them :D
  • Good afternoon :D

DW was put on before I went to bed. This morning I emptied it, and washed up the pots that needed doing. I have stripped the bed and put on a hot wash. That is now in the TD as it is a bit damp here! I have also taken down the cards.
But the biggest achievement of the day is that I have don my accounts!! :j:j:j I just need to do the tax return now, and pay the bill!

    Onwards and upwards!
  • ASB Stay strong because you are strong even though you might not think so. Take each day bit by bit and perhaps make note such as “today I did...”. After a month read it back and you will be surprised at what you thought you couldn’t do xxxx

Pigpen you utterly amazed me last time I was on here and you still do so now! Do you ever stop?

Flying in no order past 2 days:
    Lots of washing!
    Deccies down and put away.
    Hoovering throughout.
    Gifts put away/eaten
    Kitchen sparkling
    Living room sparkling
Dogs entertained (getting a bit sick of playing with the new Christmas toys a zillion times)
    Garden cleaned up
OH packed to stay with friends NYE ( I don’t like going out NYE and with 3 dogs it can get complicated - he does like going out, compromise all round)
Shopping done and replaced my worn out old slightly chewed fake crocs!!!!!!! These are sparkly hideous pink :D

Just remains to say a big thank you for the lists, be safe and stay strong. Xxx
