    Welcome to newbies.
Started the day by gritting teeth and getting on scales. Seriously bad, worst ever.
Started to address the blubber by going to body balance then zumba. . . Then out to lunch with a friend. Yes, I know.
    Organised some emails.
    Started a report.
That's it. Decorations will stay till 12th night.

ASB Pigger's points numbered 1,2,3 are spot on. I remember telling someone who stayed with an abusive husband for the sake of her children (he put her in hospital more than once) was a waste; they wouldn't thank her for it. If you're not happy the children will know. Well done for saying it; you'll be fine BUT if you need thinking space don't be afraid to ask the doctor for a fit note. We're here and we're with you all the way. Much love x

All decs away; lounge vacuumed. No idea why the tree had developed such a lean...I know it's early, but I could no longer cope with the cat attacking it.
Bed stripped and remade with clean bedding, some of which was line dried.
Went to town; best bargain was smoked salmon in M&S - YS to 69p From £4.50. I bought 4 packs as it will fit in the freezer!
All my to-ing and fro-ing wore me out and I had to have a nap!

I have decluttered two years' worth of college notes and gained 15" of shelf space. One of us will have to go to the tip tomorrow :D

It turns out that the Bakewell tart/strudel hybrid that DD rustled up yesterday went home with them last night - I was looking forward to a bit of it for supper, but it's not worth driving 120 miles to get a taste :rotfl:

    Good evening :D

Thanks for the lists - I will try my best!

I have been AWOL (again!!) I don't know what day it is, and I have eaten too much rubbish :rotfl:

Today we have walked the dog and done a food shop. No biscuits or chocolate was purchased! I am feeling bloated, and all the bad food is giving me reflux :o DH wants to do Parkrun on New Years Day, and he has signed me up for the couch to 5K (again) which starts next Monday (I asked him to!!). I also need to get back to eating some vegetables! I will be brave & stand on the scales on the 1st Jan!!
I really want to take the decorations down and get back to 'normal'. Hopefully I can do that Wednesday. Back to work on Thursday. I have also been working on my accounts - I want them done by tomorrow, which then gives me a month to find the money to pay the taxman!

Tomorrow I am home alone, so I will make a little list to work through:
    • [STRIKE]wash bedding[/STRIKE]
    • take down cards (it's a start!)
    • find a place for all the gifts we have been given
    • clean bathroom
    • [STRIKE]wash up[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]put on DW[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]empty DW[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]finish accounts[/STRIKE]
    • put away table
    • visit Mum
    • sort out food bin
    • clear out bathroom cabinet

Ok - that'll do for starters!

Hugs to those that need them, especially ASB. i haven't read back, but I get the gist. I can only echo what others have said, esp Pigpen and Valli Be strong!
  • I'm here - thanks Natty :A

asb - sending you the strength to see this through and to put yourself and your children first xx

I am spending too much time sleeping / dozing at the moment and not enough time doing useful things :o

    I hate my house :(

    anyway.. flying...

I have tipped 21 binbags of rubbish, removed 7 huge boxes and 5 binbags to charity shop, sorted 3 binbags for my sisters friends children, 1 binbag for DD1, 1 binbag for DIL2 and filled 2 wheelies bins... I have spent time in 3 rooms.. I have the back room to do which I was going to do today but decided I had to sort other stuff first.. 4 parcels ebeasted to PO, Lidl run for milk, returned the keyboard we bought Squeak for christmas.. pile of carp that was.. but I need to replace that now and collected prescriptions..

Piggers how the heck do you do it? I can just about look at a bin bag let alone fill them. I'm always afraid to send to the charity shop even though I could probably fill up their book shelves...not sure what afraid of,it's one of my irrationalities..

Can't really offer any words of wisdom asb as when I left DH I came back and we worked it out, and yes I do believe we are stronger although we do still have our moments.. Although the fact I went a bit bonkers might have helped..and ended up having 5 years of intensive treatment.

So I just wanted to give you a huge (((((hug)))) xxxx
