Evening all
Working this morning but pretty lazy for the rest of the day
All meals from home though, and nothing spent :j NSD 13 / 16 for me today.
Grateful for a few sales for my little business, not having much cooking to do, as I made enough yesterday for tonight as well, and my cosy house0 -
Lifting my head out of the marking pile to announce that I'm still alive but so very busy, as always once exam season kicks off.
It's a short window this time round though - should be all done by the 8th Feb. Fingers crossed.
Lost count of nsd's but I don't even have a penny to my name at the moment - I'm desperate to get to payday on Friday.
Can't wait for a f0xing fantastic February...Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

No NSD for me today. The boiler is on the blink AND the car exhaust has fallen apart. Haven't paid the plumber for the last visit so that probably needs doing too before he'll come out!Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

Evening
Feeling much better todayand pretty much back to normal. I hit another NSD, but will stop clocking up as hit the 16 target already!
Today I am grateful for:
1) Feeling better and the wonders a good night's sleep brings
2) Text messages from friends
3) Being able to share happy memories with colleagues
Still been doing my mindfulness but my journaling has gone off the boil the last few days whilst I was poorly so need to get back on track with all that. Rechecked budgets, and all looking good so far. Hit with a £200 ground rent bill for the year that I thought I'd be able to pay monthly - but that's what emergency funds are for, right? I'm making a point to squirrel away £20/month this year, ready for 2021.
That's me done for today. Thanks F0xh0les for volunteering for February! You are a :starmod:Night all x

Still on 13/16 NSDs as lots of little spends over the last few days. Grateful for cuddles with my niece, seeing family and paydayMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
Mortgage overpayment savings - £2.11/£50
Mortgage overpayments so far - £675.980 -
Bought some dog food yesterday, we have already bought for this month but it was £5 off so I called for another sack yesterday before the offer ends later this week. I borrowed the money from one of my pots and will pay it back from March's budgets. Not a huge saving but five pounds is five pounds.
Made oat milk for the first time yesterday, reasonable success but it does thicken on heating. Also made hummus and a vegetable soup for tea.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Good Morning lovely Turtle-Questors.
Today out of necessity (yada yada yada) NSD 15. No choice. I have at least one child off school sick today - coughing like mad. Grrrr. One kid at dentist after school. All food from stores. Nothing else to report.
I shall spend the day cleaning stuff. It costs nothing, needs doing, and when it is finished, it looks better. Cos it is ever finished!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Thanks Foxy for February's challenge.:T:T
NSD 14/16. Didnt spend yesterday, train tickets still not booked. Today had dentist, free check up now I am 60 but paid for x rays £14 will recover from medicash so not counting as a spend.:p
Last night I attempted a you tube yoga video. My knee won't bend back on itself. I have been struggling with it burning when walking lately and its been causing sciatica at night. Will just try moving a bit more in the day, and doing exercises I have had for it previously. Otherwise I enjoyed yoga, will do the same one all week, my shoulders felt less stiff last night. Not sure I am up to downward dog but I haven't fallen over yet.:rotfl:
Suddenly realise that my mobility is awful, laze on couch when I get home. I eat too much. Do walk but not done 10k any day last week. Bucking my ideas up from now.
Grateful for
Feeling happier today
Nice chat with dd in NZ yesterday.
