If I do this right this month, after looking at the money situation, if I go proper hardcore this month, I could clear £1k to my savings account.. Not often this happens, but the planets are aligned, the stars are in the right positions, and I am going for it.

Just to be a party pooper... would it be useful to keep some of this for when you have the super-tight-lean-money-lacking month of march...?

Ran as planned this morning then after lunch DH & I took the dog out, we walked to the Post Office to post an ebay sale and then ended up walking all over the place, 6.5 miles in total, nice walk and I enjoyed having a nosy at all the lovely properties that I normally pass in the car or on the bike.

Called into two charity shops as I am on a mission to find a couple of dvd's, found one of them on a 3 for £1 deal so picked up two others as well, also got a gorgeous BNWT Christmas cushion to put away for next year, £2 paid for that.

    Ugly, unloved or unused = - am looking to achieve 2020 things out in 2020 :) (5.5 items/ day) - current tally 51/ 2020
Exercise your mind and body. We don’t have to do it; we get to do it. - want to do 310000 steps in Jan as a start - easing in as have a lingering chest infection which cold weather is really not helping - currently 26000/ 310000 - need to up my game massively!
Savings Where can you save? Money. Time. Stress and anxiety. Waste. Plastic. - rocky road-ish cake made with leftover Xmas chocs and biscuits which ppl aren't keen on and flapjack with not-liked granola and brown bananas
    • 16 NSDS minimum. 2. Needed to get sausages for impromptu brunch today
    • Budget. Everything. IN ADVANCE. - DOne
    • Post at least three gratitudes daily please. We like to hear what you are thankful for. A lie in again, getting the Xmas docs in garage loft with help of Dd and DS1, getting some furniture in garage reorganised with their help, getting some books sorted to go to CS
    • Give. Money, time, food. There are others out there who need you! And look after yourself too. - will do

Abundant - I'd look to keep the car and take finance for the extra 3k - check book value of it closer to time and if it is 5k or more you are ok. You know the car and its history.
And then never do PCP again! :)

It is easy access apple, so easily get backable, and when we remortgage, there is always the one month free of mortgage payment while they fiddle and fuddle about trying to generate a payment plan and dd. All overpayments are on hold until it goes through and the lean month is out of the way.

I did the school shoe shopping Quest with DS3 &4. Back in the car in 60 minutes exactly, I had paid for 2 hours. But still having been to all the shops they wanted to go to, and then home for soups for lunch via a quick trip to Her0n as I had not been in for a fortnight. 2 for £1 cauldr0n tofu, and wholemeal noodles. All very virtuous:A so we had my cake and tea and watched the football:rotfl:. Well, that was what it looked like, but the pile of laundry has diminished and the the folding pile has grown. Either it was me, or I have well trained house elves (.....it was me)

  • Not a nsd for me today as it was back-to-school haircut day for me and ds. Then I finally gave in and did a trip to Mr S. Also bought bestie some painkillers and throat sweets as she's not feeling great. Popped them round to her and stayed for a quick cuppa.
Did a bit of getting ready to go back to work on Monday and have had an afternoon of crochet. All of my current projects are gifts for people using wool from my extensive stash in the loft so if I get them done then they shouldn't cost me anything. Shopping from home (as a very wise lady often says)
Today I'm grateful for: my lovely hairdresser, my brilliant bestie and my super conscientious dd doing her homework and encouraging me to do my homework too.
  • 3rd NSD for me!
A low energy day so not much achieved, a couple of food items past their best were binned. Some other sad old unloved cupboard items repurposed into a type of dessert called mosaica, which I’m enjoying! Hoping to have some food prepped for tomorrow that is a bit healthier than the last few days.
Today I’m thankful for - this challenge (is really stopping me spending), trash tv and my sofa!

Claiming NSD 2 today. I need to pay the plumber's bill, but the online banking is playing up, and when I tried to print out the bill to pay it by post, the printer didn't work either :( Going to have to reinstall it, but need to be in the right frame of mind to do that, which certainly isn't at the moment. I will however try to make the payment from another bank account, but not till tomorrow! Or possibly Monday!

Today I am grateful for my sis +niece visiting, for having a car, for a clear and crisp day, for the washing machine, for my neighbour doing okay, for swallowing some tadpoles, for SpyKids3D.

    Hi everyone
Been busy the last few days, sorted loads for the cs, and been doing loads of knitting and reading, so not strenuous at all!!
Havent been shopping for a couple of days but I will have to go out tomorrow for fruit and veg.
    Gratitudes:
    1 family
    2 warm house
3 enough food in the house to make meals

So I hope everyone had a good New Year, I had one of my dgc to stay whilst mom went out to a friends, and then had her for a couple of days whilst mom was at work - grandma duties!
Nothing planned for the next couple of days (only shopping tomorrow - boring) but next week must get off my backside and start finding more stuff to do.
