NSD 2/16. Meal plan is done and shouldn't need to buy any food until after the weekend.

Today I'm grateful for another lovely shift at work, yummy fishcakes, chips and peas, feeling organised and a nice chat with my parents.

I have really thought before spending today. Thought long and hard about 2 items on my list. Decided against one and deferred the other. Total for both roughly £10 but every penny is a prisoner this month:money: Found a birthday card I have had for literally years in my dwindling card stash for my sister and already had a 2nd class stamp to post it. I did buy one item and spent sometime making a good choice, not the cheapest, but the best one for me.

Quest. My quest in 2020 is to pay £10k off our debt and never use the cc again - nothing paid off as yet this month

    Question everything.
Habits/routines - aiming to move more, break some bad eating habits, take a little more time for me
Plans - away 14 nights with work this month! Using the small amount of personal time to read, pamper and exercise

Ugly, unloved or unused will look to sell a couple of items in Jan and we have a lot of cardboard and other bits to remove from the garage - nothing done as yet

Exercise your mind and body. Made sure I walked the dog today (he does get walked just not always by me)

Savings used a Christmas voucher to put towards the case I purchased today

16 NSDS minimum. Aiming for at least 20 1/20 still on 1 as needed to add cash to the voucher.

Budget. squeezing an annual membership I forgot and a carry on case needed for work, as my old one has ripped, out of nothing this month

Post at least three gratitudes daily please. Today I am grateful for:

    1) Having some breaded chicken in the freezer to make a quick tea when the chicken I had defrosted to make curry was rank.
    2) The boots DH bought me as a surprise for Christmas; I’ve worn them every day since
    3) The pilot light on the boiler relighting on the 2nd attempt

Give. Money, time, food. There are others out there who need you! planning library and charity shop donations this month - not done yet

And look after yourself too. went for a walk
    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
    Make £2021 extra income - £99.75

    Question everything:
Your habits :- Sax Practice. - 25 minutes playing along to a cd.
Routines:- Exercise - No exercise today. But I have signed up for my first race of the year.
Plans :- Savings - £4.55 transfered from my Paypal and into my savings.
Ugly, unloved or unused - Minimalist Challenge. Day 2 - Two unused gopro accessories.
Exercise your mind and body. I couldn't sleep last night, so just chilling and recouperating.
    Savings. £4.55 added.
Thankfulness. 1) Thankful for a delishous dinner. 2) Thankful I have just one more day of work before my week off . 3) Thankful for a cosy blanket.

[STRIKE]16 NSDS minimum.[/STRIKE] 1/31 NSD. Bought a ticket for the first race of the year. £10 for a 10k run. Its only 2 weeks away, so couldn't really hold off!

  • Oh, I have not really done my QUEST thing but I will! I’m working on it.
I joined olio, I have a few items to list. I have a few charity shop items to donate next week.

Spent flipping tonnes of cash money today. Topped up my travel card £40 which will do for the month, ideally for the next 6 weeks. Spent £7 at the supermarkets on bread, ys bread for the freezer, eggs, milk, cereal, crisps, yoghurt, marg and some tins and veg.

    Today I’m thankful for
-friends and family, my house, my iPad

    Evening everybody!

Back to work today but felt in a lovely peaceful place. Got up as usual to do my mindfulness and journaling and it really does help. I am aware of negative people at work, and I could hear myself at times buying into it... before realising and correcting myself...

Anyway... Today I am grateful for...

    1) My peaceful time and the insights I gain from them
    2) Having a job that pays me a wage
    3) After watching some of 'The Planets' by Brian Cox... wow! I am grateful for life here on Earth... and for the amazing technology that has informed our understanding of the Universe!!!

    Today = NSD :starmod:2

    Night for now gang!

  • Hi everyone
Quick catch up as it is past my bedtime....
I have cleared out the airing cupboard and it is very organised now. In the process I added some more items to the charity bag - nearly 2 bags full now.
I managed to unblock my bathroom washbasin - very proud of myself as I have very few practical skills :)
    Gratitudes:
Lie in and relaxed start to the day
Lovely walk by the canal with DD1
Friend cancelled our coffee date so I achieved another NSD and used the spare time to sort aforementioned airing cupboard NSDs=2/16

Question everything. Yep, every single thing. Your habits, routines, reactions, plans... But not so much that your head explodes… ok I am questioning, my head is sore...
Ugly, unloved or unused = it goes out of your house to be beautiful, loved and used elsewhere. I am re-kondo-ing, donating, recycling
Exercise your mind and body. We don’t have to do it; we get to do it.I-am doing, dusted the wii and Fitbit off
Savings (not sales, as I presume you have side-stepped around them unless you had planned and budgeted for something). Where can you save? Money. Time. Stress and anxiety. Waste. Plastic. Money, stress, waste all being saved. Time- I have lots of.
Thankfulness. Let's look at what we have and be grateful for it.

[*] 16 NSDS minimum. You can keep an NSD if you ONLY buy reduced items, fuel or medical items, or if it’s a random payment that you cannot plan for (but you CAN set the money aside) or weekly activities that have to be paid in cash (again, set the money aside in an envelope at the start of the month) Aiming for 16, I shop too easily and must stop using it as leisure/exercise
[*] Budget. Everything. Food. Travel. Socialising. Hobbies. Bills. Savings. School/work stuff. Birthdays. IN ADVANCE. Food- £18 Nectar and £8 Asd4 plus£3 cash. Travel - £40 local plus up to £25 national. Haircut £65. Socialising, unforeseen, “walking around” money £20
[*] Post at least three gratitudes daily please. We like to hear what you are thankful for.
[*] Give. Money, time, food. There are others out there who need you! And look after yourself too. Donating to food bank, giving to olio, will make time for friends
