Breeze gone.

I’ve also had a Breeze Credit applied. I was one of the worst hit - £516 in credit with Breeze.
The credit indicated by BG however is for £416 so not right but better than nothing. Apparently it’ll be used as an adjustment on my final bill which is due to be taken by DD this coming week so I’ll see what happens. They should, in theory therefore, credit me by around £200 odd after taking what I owe them, my DD is of course still open.
I’ll then have to chase the other £100 from Breeze when the Covid-19 crisis ends and they decide to resume communications with the outside world, but could be worse right now. 
On the subject of my final bill, it’s just for gas, they seem to have forgotten my electricity consumption completely! They’ll no doubt remember at some stage and threaten to send ‘Eddie the Razor’ and his mates round which seems to be how they do things at BG 🙄
Shambolic for such an old established British company.

Pleased and somewhat surprised to advise that a cheque from BG for my Breeze credit of £182.44 has arrived in the post today just 7 days after they had emailed me with the credit sum. Delighted that I moved away from them as soon as I could and will hopefully never have anything to do with this monolithic dinosaur again in the future. Hope all of you get a similar positive scenario to form closure on this shambolic episode.

Am very pleased to say my cheque from BG arrived in the post this morning, I know its not as much as some of you are waiting for but am glad its finally been refunded £50.44.   Hope you all receive your refunds in the next few days

That’s great news...am not holding my breath and will be surprised to see the £200+ that is showing as credit on my BG account!
