What small DFW things will you do w/c 16th December?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important! :money:

Morning all.
Hope you all had a good weekend.
Not the best MSE start to the week - made my sandwich for lunch and left it on the kitchen side!!!
Today I have/will:
* Check banks
* Do a money shuffle to account for spends
* Wash load on at 30 degree eco cycle
* Make lunch and take to work - FAIL
* Park for free and walk to work
* Update spreadsheet for weekend's spends
* Check OP/PA
* Buy remaining presents
* Go to CEX and see what I can get for my phone (although it's very beat up!) - use that and Christmas present money from parents to get a new one (i.e. secondhand)
* Buy cheap lunch
* Snap any receipts
* Hang washing on airer
* Give house a quick blitz
* Get out Christmas decs as my house is very un-festive!
* Dinner from stores
That's everything I can think of for now. Hope you all have a good day!Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89

Thanks Dnms for this weeks thread.
:wave: to all
My productive week hasn't quite started to my plan but hey i've achieved anyway!
* gym session x 2 done and water bottle refilled
* called into aldeeee and stocked up on their 19p veg (potatoes, parsnips, swede, sprouts & cabbage)
* cooked two chickens at once and sent some home with my parents
* changed ds2s bedding, he's been pulling apart biros and has got red ink all over his new sheet :mad: I've washed it but its not come out, I'm deducting the money for the sheet and the pens (several pens found under his bed dismantled :mad: ) from his pocket money.
* used pollyfilla and filled some holes around the house after the latest move round of everything and touched up the paint where needed (and as my dad was here he found the "right" magnolia for the room dh works in when wfh and he touched up the wall where dh had thrown coffee all the way up it!)
* had a fridge tidy omelette for our brunch - great way to use up stuff!
* put chicken bones in the slow cooker ready to put on later for stock
* washed a load on the quick 30 degree wash and hung on the heated airer
Still need to
* check banking/update spreadsheet
* make families lunches for tomorrow
* make a leek and potato soup (probably tomorrow now)
* make a butternut squash soup (probably tomorrow now)
* run the dishwasher on the quick wash
* chicken dinner for tonights meal
Thats it for now as I've finished my coffee
Take care all.Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.
