4. DAY TO DAY DECLUTTERING WILL CONTINUEMonday started off grey & overcast 🙁 looked like it was going to stay that way but by 12:30 p.m. it was clear blue sky, warm & sunny 😎 Had 2 special visitors in the garden - agreat spotted woodpecker hanging off the fatball feeder & a robin flitting about the garden 🙂🙂 Did one full load of washing & it dried on the whirligig 🥳 Harvested another 364g of ripe red tomatoes but gave neighbour MrsG 447g 😱 Made a chicken based soup with los from freezer - zizzed & taste tested & is delicious 😋 - will do lunch for two for the next 3 days. Last task I completed was to thoroughly sweep the patio - even moved the furniture 😆😉 DH mowed front lawn, scarified & put some grass seed down.
Dinner was chicken fried in butter, boiled potatoes & corn on the cob.

Morning All
Freezer sold on Saturday - again within a couple of hours. It was elderly but working and clean so I priced it quite cheaply as it doesnt owe me anything!
Managed to get a tip appointment for yesterday,3 lots of garden rubbish, my old defunct shredder and some metal bits of DH gone as well. I also managed to take a small bag into the CS, 3 books, a document folder,a top and a new pair of shorts that I didnt feel comfortable in. Not a lot but outs!
I dont have any cast iron cooking pans as they're too heavy for me to use but I do use cast aluminium as the heat distribution is good on them too.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle10 -

Havent posted lately, Hubby and I have both had birthdays, mine a big one...lets say ive got to wait another year for my state pension!!! Grrr then you can all guess😁😁had a long weekend away on the suffolk coast, just an hour away, in case Boris told us to go home.., they were very good, breakfasts brought to rooms, no contact. Had gorgeous weather, DH did 2 photography courses, had 4 nights B and B, so decluttered a fair bit of money!!!
Since coming home, ive decluttered lots of e mails etc from computer, texts and messages from whats app.
Got rid of quite a few sl wld plus other diet books, leaflets, some ive kept to go through, for when it rains this week, for nice recipies, then they will also be decluttered into the recycling bin! Cant be doing with that stuff anymore, rather do my yoga twice a week and going for walks and trying to eat healthily most of the time!!
Decluttered 3 trays of pansies for cash today, got a few more trays to get rid of. I set new seeds but didnt expect quite so many to come up. Must get rid, as ive quite a lot of Aqualegia (excuse spelling) to !!!!!! out now. Surprised how many of those have come up too, they were seeds I pinched while on a walk from them growing out of a wall! Not much room left in greenhouse!!
Just had to interrupt my typing, as had to grab a Mr T del slot for 20 Oct, before they all went. They go live at midnight for 4 wks time. That done. Must go to bed. Take care everyone. 😁

Tuesday has been another gloriously sunny day but slightly cooler & the breeze was a bit chilly 🙁 Lazy day YET again. The hm chicken based soup not as tasty hot as it was cold & also a bit thin 🙁 have added some cornflour so hopefully better tomorrow 🤞 Dinner was los - baked cheesy pasta with added mozzarella & slices of hg tomatoes for DSis & lo fish pie with added hg tomatoes for DH & I. The weather forecast is for rain & wind, so harvested more red tomatoes - 1.528kg 👏 (Total so far over 9kg 🥳) Plenty more green tomatoes to harvest 👏 Garden watered & did a bit of paperwork. DSis gave me two pairs of trousers that no longer fit her - do fit me but would be more comfortable with a declutter of 7lbs 🙁 Now I just have to psych myself up to diet & exercise ☹️
1722 - 1727 Kitchen recycling, 0.5” paperwork, brochure, small cardboard box, glass jar & plastic lid, magazine - Recycled
1728 - 1731 Kitchen detritus, office detritus, lr detritus, 0.5” shredding - Binned
Great work silvasava 👏 Pennies in, tip run & a cs bag - I call that a very successful day 🥳 Your comment about cast aluminium pans has prompted me to arrange a shopping trip with DH on Wednesday - will then be taking my ruined Le Creuset pans to the Tip - have given me 40 years of service so they will be thanked & let go 😉
Good work villagelife 👏
Good work TC77 👏
Belated birthday greetings to both you & your DH, garden_girl_2. Sounds like you had a wonderful mini break 🙂
(To be perfectly honest I am struggling with Bojo - he is the only person who it is hard to BE KIND towards. He is making life miserable for all of us & the sympathy I once had (because he had COVID-19) has completely gone. He is trying to be a statesman & is failing miserably 😡 SORRY, rant over). You are definitely living up to your user name 😉 - really happy for you re your sales of plants 👏 & I wish you every success in future sales.BE KIND.
