Happy New Year everyone and thank you Mrs SD and all of you for being with me on the decluttering journey. I started out in a very different place from today, intended to get rid of 2020 things but although I started well, i lost count early on and just did my best. It was great to have your support, and I'm trying again in 2021. Never give up!Magnolia Stellata7

Just looked at my ebay and I've sold at least 300 decluttered items in the last 12 months - got my last 10 items for sale and if they don't go this weekend I shall see if any relatives want and if not maybe I will pop them all on a 99p auction.
No outs - small kitchen bag to go but hasn't made it to the bins yet.
Dinner/Supper was pizza for him and cheese and caramelised onion quiche for me (both YS not HM ). We have enough meals for a few days carbonara, chicken burgers and egg and bacon.
Freezer empty bar chicken and pack of waffles. Only use up I have is half pack crackers but I seem to have a lot of baked beans and pantry stocks so will have to sort that out tomorrow.
Very minimal all round the house and the last box I kept is leaving the house for packaging as I've sold a coat this evening.
Happy new years eve everyone, I've bookmarked the new thread for 2021.

12 more items gone over the past 10 days or so.
2020 roundup...
758 items gone and 611 old emails deleted.
If I had counted every individual piece of paper, I would have reached my target easily. My loft is now clear except for one large item which we need help to move, my large desk has almost gone - just the top section to go once we've found a way of actually moving it, my bedroom is much clearer and there is way less paperwork lying around. Lots of items have been used up including Christmas crackers, wrapping paper, labels and cards.
What have I learned? That I don't need to buy any more clothes until I have worn out what I already have (and that I may go for a new look when I do need to buy more) and that I need to write date on fridge items when I have opened them so they get used up in time. I implemented a list system back in March for keeping an eye on food cupboard and freezer stocks both here and at OH's so we use up the correct items first thus reducing food waste.
My word of the year was Declutter and I needed to declutter all areas of my life including poor thoughts from my brain. The only one I didn't achieve progress in was weight. I only had about 7lbs to lose, but the comfort eating this year was not something I was going to tackle and I still have about 7lbs to lose. I think it will sort itself out as things improve so I'm not going to focus on it for now.
I didn't get home improvements done, partially due to Covid restrictions and partially due to the decluttering not having been done enough yet. However, I did eventually get the fencing replaced on the two boundaries I am responsible for and a lot of junk has gone from the garden which didn't actually get counted.
So, over to the new thread to set out my new word of the year and goals for 2021.
Thank you everyone for your company and encouragement, and especially to Mrs Salad Dodger for leading us all through this difficult year. I didn't achieve as much as hoped because I spent a lot of time and my precious energy supporting others. They are all in a much better place at the moment, although one I am keeping an eye on as I am concerned that the next two months will be very difficult for them - they currently seem to be on a high and I'm concerned they will come crashing down as things get a bit more difficult.

What an excellent roundup oceanspirit 👏 & I think you should be very proud of yourself 🙂
It shows me that I have been very lax in my awarding of Gold Stars 😞 So as a final roundup of your year :-
Emails - one Gold Star ⭐️
Loft - one Gold Star ⭐️
Bedroom - one Gold Star ⭐️
Paperwork - one Gold Star ⭐️
Progress in all bar one of your categories - one Gold Star ⭐️
However, what I have learned from you is that there are wonderful people in the world. You have helped & supported other people during a rather awful year. Gold Stars ⭐️ are faint praise for such generosity of spirit but three more Gold Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️Your final 2020 Gold Star tally = 9 Gold Stars ⭐️
Thank you so very much & I will see you on the 2021 Thread 🙂Be Kind. Stay Safe. Break the Chain. Save Lives. ⭐️2025 Savings Pot Challenge: As a monthly amount, running total = £299.00
