The chocolate biscuits is nothing saintly, I can only eat them when the children are in bed because nothing is sacred any more and they eat them all if they get sight of them !! Wednesday night’s dinner was pork steaks, mashed potato, greens, chopped tomatoes + mashed sweet potato for DH & I. Had peach slices & cream for afters.
Thursday was another hot sunny day. DSis did her washing, line dried but quick 15 mins in td to finish off. DH went to sm - saw 16kg sacks of flour but I now have plenty - I just need to get my ‘arris in gear & do some baking 😉 Knitted 2 more sets of baby bonding squares, finished book 3 of the Shipyard Girls series & have started book 4 again - it is making more sense now 🤭 Lunch was hm soup - very tasty & enough left for one last bowl for my lunch on Friday. DH’s love of gadgets has proved serendipitous yet again 👏
Our neighbour G couldn’t start his car. DH had taken delivery of a battery charge booster pack just 36 hours earlier & had charged it up. Once it was attached to the car battery it took 15 seconds & the car started. Bearing in mind the size of the booster pack it seems like a minor miracle 👏 The neighbour took his 2 boys out in the car for about 40 minutes.Dinner was salad (including hg lettuce) & cold meats.
Friday is yet another hot sunny day but the breeze is a tad chilly. DH has been doing some work on his motorbike. I had a chat to the neighbour J who has finished his cancer treatment& is waiting for test results. He looks well & feels good. 🤞
Now have to disappear as no charge on my iPad - I will come back later to cheerlead 🙂BE KIND. STAY SAFE. BREAK THE CHAIN. SAVE LIVES.

Hi Mrs SD,
Reading parts of your post about the flour made me smile. Two days ago we had 3 x 16kg flour (SR, whole meal and strong white). The first 16kg is in the freezer killing any weevils. Second loaf in the bread maker, made a batch of dairy free chocolate chip cookies this afternoon.Yesterday and today, hubby and I also had hm soup. Hubby had tomato and basil, I had leek and potato. (I grew the tomatoes and leeks).
Hubby and I walked to the town and back this morning, six mile round trip. Recluttered the fruit bowl and fridge.
Rang HMRC, whilst waiting to be connected, went through accounts book and recycled receipts, shredded bank letters.Unwanted post recycled.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Well done short_bird 👏 keeping up the decluttering momentum
A very impressive haul from the garage Nicnak 👏 Artexed ceilings are so ‘busy’ - so well done & I wish you success in finishing off the rest.
You have been busy nannywindow 👏 & I love that you repurposed an oar 👏 Definitely a syndrome 😆😉 my problem is that I have already taken weeks off 😞
Well done TC77 👏 keep up the good work. I had to smile at the ‘resanding of cedar balls’ 😆
Great work Gem-gem 👏 - much as I dislike wasps I do like the idea of them visiting your bird bath 🙂 Hg tomatoes & leeks - a bit jealous 😞 but hopefully sunshine & rain/watering will persuade my tomatoes & leeks to grow - eventually 😉
Excellent work bit_by_bit 👏 At least you are decluttering your house - even if some of it is ending up in the garage - hope you can still get the car out 😉 The repurposing is very MSE & I am extremely impressed 👏
Lucky you StickyTheStickInsect 😉 having access to a computer genius 👏 Hope you observed social distancing 😂 - only joking 😉 The tale of the chocolate biscuits did make me smile 😆
Good work EnergyShifter 👏
