Still daunted by stuff - I have a problem with organising - have all open shelves so can always see things but keeping chipping away

1012 few photos binned and some labelled

1013 presents and packaging to DD friend when she dropped off something - social distance exchange

1015 sock cut up and in draught excluder (just noticed it should have been abit longer)

1016 paper clutter

Was going to darn woolly tights, found darning wool (must have been my mum's as says 5p - was there a competition for how long justin things kept? but can't find a darning needle!

1036 out of date cheque ( my dad wrote another for DD who didn't cash it - already cashed)

If I don't write down I will forget and having felt stuck feel more motivated!

It's really hard at the minute to declutter. Being in Wales we are still in full lockdown so going really slow. Ive a back up of birthday presents.DD says the spare room looks like santa's grotto!

I have been doing bits and pieces, but not tracking it. I am doing a couple of bits daily so still on it. Will try to get back into the habit of updating. x

Photos taking much longer - labelled loose ones, anyone know how to convert negatives to digital pics?

My hip seems to be improving - (fingers crossed) its an ache rather than a pain now  - consequently I was able to be quite industrious yesterday - moving stuff around to make better use of space.  DS is in no hurry to take up ownership of vacated box-room so I've now repurposed the room temporarily as a storage space - but its uncluttered enough to have a lovely spot near the window overlooking the garden - sat in it last night listening to podcasts it was lovely - nothing to distract me.... might name it "The Thinking Room".  Using the room for this purpose has created a domino effect which at its other end has meant that there is now a decent space for cat's food and litter in "back-room" - previously it was really squeezed in and was a constant source of irritation to me ... Backroom - although far from big  - now feels much more spacious....

Hello

In the bin today a bag of waste/rubbish from DH's shed and some old carpet that I have cut up into bite size pieces ( have a lot more of it to go but I will put in a few at a time as we have no idea when we will get to the tip ). He has also thrown out 2 electric heaters, neither are working, but we will wait for the scrappy man to come around for them. Into recycling 3 plastic containers also from DH's shed and an ice cream one whose contents were finished off by moi
