Primrose said:I sadly rarely use the forum now since the new version was introduced and Am still getting threads from topics long ago. Where is the "unsubscribe to this thread" invitation which used to be part of the email notifying you somebody had responded please? I can,t find it anywhere and nobody from the IT team ever seemed to out up a "sticky" thread with a tutorial for non techies like me sadly!
If you want to unsubscribe and can get on the website look at the top of the page on the left hand side there is a pinkyred 'New Post' button and then you'll see a blueygreen button next to it called Unbookmark. Click/tap that and it will say Bookmark instead and that's it, you are unsubscribed.
To see a list of all these new bookmarks click a button in the top right corner called Bookmarks. If you click that and then there will be a list and at the bottom it says all bookmarks. Click there. This gives you a list of all the threads you are subscribed to. On the left of each thread is a blueygreen ribbon. If you want to unsubscribe to a thread you just touch the blue ribbon and it will go white and you are off that thread. Hope this helps.
Slow but steady decluttering progress here although I am missing my favourite charity shop and the shed is filling up with junk to go to the local tip when it finally reopens.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!8 -
This lot went to the local food redistribution network:
342-344: Egg cartons
345- 354: 10 carriers
355-372: 18 empty ice cream containers and lids so they can distribute meals.
And 2 items from my fridge to the bin as past their best making 374
375: an entire TV series watched and deleted‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Have actually decluttered a bit today, freecycled a box of "shed !!!!!!" as my ex calls it; half used tin of paint, spray glue etc, I'll never use it and someone else will. Also tetrised my "new" freezer and made a big chilli which I have froze in marg tubs. Is that decluttering? Also got rid of the last bits of poly packing from deliveries which has been in the lean to. I've got another week at home now stretching the cash then hopefully work again.

1. WRITE AND USE “TO DO LISTS” - MINIMUM 30 MINUTE BURSTS OF ACTIVITY AT LEAST TWICE EVERY DAY2. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT3. I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO BE NICE TO EVERYONE & TRY TO SEE THE FUNNY OR PECULIAR SIDE TO AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
4. DAY TO DAY DECLUTTERING WILL CONTINUEFriday was only warm rather than hot but with a rather chilly breeze. Most of my bonding squares are too big 😭 so I am having to unpick & reduce the stitch number & knit again 🙁 I do knit loosely or should that be very loosely 😉 Yet another lazy day for the 3 of us. Dinner was salmon fillets cooked in foil with boiled salad potatoes & garden peas 🤤
Saturday is bright & occasionally sunny but a gale is blowing 😱 Milkman paid & a nice chat - not a restful week off as his DW put a paintbrush in his hand & had him decorate the whole house - he was not amused 😒 Also his replacement messed up his accounts 😬 good job I keep a record 😉
953 - 954 Kitchen recycling, cardboard packaging - Recycled
955 - 956 One sock, bag of kitchen detritus - BinnedShame about the cs bag nannywindow 🙁 I am thinking that so many people filled a bag that there was no space in the pick up van/car by the time they reached your house 😉 Wishing you success in your wardrobe declutter 🤞 I see you had a successful wardrobe declutter 🙂Great work villagelife 👏Thanks for the info Wanna_Bee_Free 👏 As you seem to be tech savvy - Do you know

EnergyShifter said:I bought some really lovely, good quality sticky tiles from the pound shop - I spent literally all afternoon doing it -- 20 packs - I had to take the shower screen down and wash all the walls. It looks lovely but unfortunately I can't get the blooming shower screen back up
- after much swearing I've given up for the day! Had a lovely bath in my new pretty bathroom & poured myself a large G&T!
324-343 - 20 x tiles applied to bathroom wall
344 - bathroom cleaned within an inch of its life
345 - lamp fixed
After having "tiled" the bathroom I thought, I know - I'll get some more & "tile" the bath panel. Peeled back the existing stickers & saw that the bottom of panel was rotten (just a mdf thing). Took it off to measure for replacement mdf & cat found his way under bath & down a hole under floor boards. Little devil was down there for ages not answering my calls - emerged covered in thick dust! Got replacement sheet of mdf but still haven't fixed it in place & shower screen.
Since then I haven't had a day off - was on a course all last weekend. Add to that my hip was incredibly painful so all in all things have come to a bit of a standstill... Thankfully hip really improving and I have a day off today and Monday so hopefully that will change!!
346 & 7 - 2 x claims for SEISS (me & DS)
348 - old sofa that was bad for my posture - replaced
249 - desk brought downstairs into office (had been using a folding table while hip was playing up) - looks much more "finished"
250. Dead garden chair disposed of
251. Dead radiator cover disposed of
252. Front garden "strimmed" & spruced up
253. Toasted sandwich maker - given away
254. ugly plastic kitchen storage - repurposed in loft
Thank you for my gold stars @MrsSD
