I sorted through the stationery cupboard and actually didn't get rid of very much but everything now has a place and has a label on the box or draw, so things are easy to find. I can only assume that things were hard to find before, this must explain why we have 17 rolls of gaffer tape !!!
I'm working my way up to sorting out the next door cupboard this week, I'm dreading it as things currently fall out if I have to open the door.
Other than that, very little progress made on the decluttering front, we've had wet weather so DS1 and DD have been indoors much more, so I get less done and DS2 is more of a hurricane in a bucket than usual and found a sharpie left out and decorated the wall in the hall, any tips about how to remove it will be greatly received as I can't get it off !
My MIL died unexpectedly on Thursday, so aside from helping DH declutter a bottle of JD from the shed, little else achieved.
I hope everyone is keeping well and stay safe xx2025 Decluttering Campaign Mrs SD –The joy of decluttering 204/104(312)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

283-288: out of date prescription drugs
289: odd bit of yoghurt from the back of the fridge binned
290-301: ticket and paper oddments to recycling, other papers to the filing.
302: remains of the tape that was holding up the blackout blind removed
303-307: life maintenance tasks carried out - confirmed that I had cancelled the milk at my Mum's rather than pausing it for holiday, submitted meter readings, that kind of thing
Have put the hammer, picture hooks and spirit level by the mirror so that can actually go on the wall tomorrow. Still trying to work out what to do with stuff that should go to the charity shop as it may be here for some time.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

I really must get back into posting daily 😞 Saturday’s dinner was pasta bolognese. Sunday & Monday were dry & sunny but chilly. Fairly lazy yet again 😞 TV - DSis & I watched all 5 Twilight films (had forgotten how annoying Bella was 😉, AB2, knitting - 2nd & 3rd baby blankets finished. Helped DH tidy garage a bit. One of our neighbours had dug up a hedge & my lovely DH shredded it - 8 green plastic bags condensed into 3/4 of a garden compost bag - topped up with our hedge clippings. Think the garden waste collection is every 2 weeks. Sunday night’s dinner was the last of the bolognese sauce with garden peas made into a cottage pie - very yummy 🤤 Monday night was lo cottage pie for DSis. DH made us a rice dish - threw in mushrooms, frozen peas, smoked sausage, various other bits incl. garlic, onion, Thai 7 spice & soy sauce. Surprisingly tasty 😋

Wow Mrs SD, THREE gold stars! Thank you so much.DH was very happy with his I can tell you
I am adding a bag of CDs and DVDs to my total as I sent of my Zifitt sale. I hope they don't decide its not good enough. They seem to want perfection. Having said that, nearly everything was given to me to get rid of and some of it was still in original cellophane so should be ok.
Hitting the RoD this evening but until then will be in the garden followed by a nap.
Thankyou once more for those stars, you have no idea how much it means to recieve even one

Wednesday, have you thought about folding your bag for life? When I did marie kondo there was a way to fold them into a small triangle, which I did with all my daughters bags that were bursting out of her cupboard!! They then take up a very small amount of space, and are 3 as to keep a couple in your handbag ,incase you buy something unexpectedly.

Sorry not been around much, still working through thing's,
Caught up with the shredding,
decluttered 470 e-mails.
Finished up a jar of jam.
Bodies of 5 mice, yes the little blighters are back, but the trap's I got are doing a good job of killing them.
Other half has put down weed sheeting, just need the place to open to get the stone, so hopefully it will be a discouragement to the small pest's.
