Mrs_Salad_Dodger said:Excellent work greent 👏 Now you are just showing off greent 😉 I have to say I would have counted selling the caravan as at least 10 items 😉 - hope you got a decent price 🙂
We got a good price for the condition it was in/ age - and it's gone from the garden, which is the best bit - it was on our 'to-do' list last year to sell it, but that didn't happen. As to numbers of items, we sold some 'extras' with the caravan and included some other bits for free - they're all included on the next part of my list

Wednesday was a lovely sunny day so spent lots of time in the garden with DH. The strimmer came out & all edges were tidied & clippings cleared up. I used the lopper & cut down the branches from next door’s tree which were overhanging our garden. All the branches shredded & bagged. Planted loads of seeds (tomatoes, coriander, chives & basil) which are in seed trays or the rather pretty wooden allotment (which is finally being used) on the kitchen or living room window sills - south facing windows so will hopefully germinate quickly. Watered twice. Found enough compost/top soil to fill 3 more pots. DH also mowed the front ‘handkerchief’ - ours & next door’s. Rather therapeutic working in the garden on a sunny day & an excuse to wear my mum’s straw hat 🙂 - she used to love gardening especially when she lived in France - she had the knack of resuscitating plants & trees when everyone else thought the only thing to do was add them to the compost pile 😂 . Front & back gardens are beginning to look good. Fingers crossed 🤞 that everything grows 🤞 Dinner was Snorkers (aka sausages), mashed potato, the last 2 mushrooms & a couple of tins of chopped tomatoes.882 - 885 Cardboard box, kitchen recycling, plastic pot, cardboard packaging - Recycled
886 - 889 Bag of kitchen detritus, 2 empty compost bags, bag of garden detritus - Binned

Thursday is another gloriously warm & sunny day. DH was going to do an sm run but has had 2 massive nosebleeds (tmi coming up 🤢one whilst he was having a bath - Sweeney Todd was an amateur 🤣) - fortunately nothing urgent required. Third nosebleed & DH is now sitting out in the garden with a wet tea towel & watering can of water - feeling utterly miserable. Feel so helpless as absolutely nothing I can do.
Long chat with next door neighbour - he is busy gardening as due to a complete overhaul of his diet (no carbs, no dairy, no meat) he is now hay fever free 👏 The neighbour across the road has dragooned her 3 kids into gardening 🤣 - the older 2 are of the grin & bear it brigade, the youngest is do a bad job & I won’t have to do it again brigade 😆
Good work villagelife 👏 and a 😇 for the eggs
Shame about the plugs boultdj 🙁
Good work Nicnak 👏Lovely to see you RepentHoarder 😁 You are definitely a reformed clutterbug 🤣 Really glad that you have an incentive to rejoin the world when this is all over 🥳 I miss - being able to visit family, hugging people, going away for weekend bike trips with DH, going on holiday, visits to the Chinese Wellness Centre - so won’t have any problems reintegrating 😉No charge so will be back later - too much AB2 😞

The bins and recycling were emptied yesterday.
I threw away 2 nail varnishes, an old bottle of Tippex, some leftovers I forgot to eat (I'm self-isolating at the moment or I would have fed the birds in the park with them) and I went around my house and put more packaging into the recycling bin.
I am mentally adding some things to the charity shop donation bag. At least one of my handbags, a blouse and three jumpers.
I am using up the end of a bottle of essential oil tonight as well as a bottle of body lotion with my nightly bath.12 -

DH’s 4th nosebleed was an epic. It prompted him to phone 111 & get advice. Did the ice, pinching the nose etc, etc but it didn’t stop. The back garden has blood pools & if anybody saw it they would think there had been a murder 😱 90 minutes later it was still bleeding & a 2nd call to 111 was met with ‘you should get a taxi to A&E’ The benefit of living in London is that I only just had time to get DH a clean polo shirt & a carrier bag containing a towel, a couple of cans of ginger coke/cream soda, face masks & his wallet, before the taxi turned up. He arrived back about 5 hours later - having seen 8 NHS staff. He had blood taken, blood pressure (high) & nasal tampons inserted. Sat around for a couple of hours awaiting the blood test results - all clear thankfully 😅 So consultant cauterised & inserted gel. Finally got home about 1:00 a.m.. DSis made DH a cup of coffee & I cooked him bacon, fried eggs & oven chips - DH was starving as he had only had a couple of slices of toast with marmalade at about 10:00 a.m. 😱 DSis & I had eaten earlier - same meal for DSis with the addition of baked beans but minus chips for me.

I am very impressed greent 👏
Good work short_bird 👏
Great work Wednesday2000 👏
Good work TC77 👏 I am with you in my concern that CS will be inundated with stuff & not all of it suitable. I do know that they can & do refuse donations, so probably best to phone beforehand.
I rather approve elsien - your parent is a true professional in the art of ‘Justin’ 👏 Now I want to know if anyone can beat 43 years for a ‘Justin’ item?Good work EnergyShifter 👏 I hope you told your DS ‘you snooze, you lose’ 😆😉
Excellent work Chocolatedrinker 👏 I hope your daughter has given Gerald a surname 😂
