Hangs head in shame 😳 😞 YET again. Friday was another gloriously sunny day. I slept on the sofa as I didn’t want to accidentally fling an arm over DH & cause a nosebleed 😱 Woke up about 8:00 a.m., watered garden whilst brewing first cuppa. DH woke about 10:00 a.m. - feeling rather fragile as he did all day. To avoid DH having to go to sm I went out about 10:30 a.m. - first trip to MrA since 13th March. Half an hour in the queue - but didn’t mind as the sun was shining & the elderly lady in front me at 2m was very chatty 🙂 so the time passed quickly 👏. Paper & disinfectant spray available - so I took 2 sheets, sprayed copiously & kept it on the trolley handle all the way round + wearing a mask 😷. Not really very friendly if one wears glasses 🙁 Tried to follow the arrows on the floor & was mainly successful - but not so much with the 2m spacing 🙁 I went off list but not too badly. Bus home - entry via the middle door. An 2.5 hour round trip - so not too bad.Over the next 2 hours put the shopping away including dividing up the meat & finding space in the freezers. Dinner was cold meats & salad including the first harvest of hg lettuce 🥳 Even DH who is not a fan of rabbit food 😆 thoroughly enjoyed the lettuce - mind you it was tasty 😋
Saturday was another gloriously sunny & hot day. Loaned some gardening tools to ndn. DH was feeling slightly better & another night free from problems & I managed not to roll over & damage him 🤣 I did the morning watering & DH did the evening one. DH was also feeling well enough to go to MrS & get the heavy shopping. We had salad again but no hg lettuce as I needed to use the one I had bought. We all definitely preferred the hg lettuce 😉
891 - 898 Two lots of kitchen recycling, 2 large glass jars, plastic bottle, 2 cardboard boxes, cardboard packaging - Recycled
899 - 903 Bag of office detritus, bag of kitchen detritus, coffee tin of kitchen detritus, plastic tray, broken F*tb*t strap - Binned
904 LED light - CS bag
Hopefully the cauterisation will work ailz95. The garden sculpture sounds beautiful 🙂 Good luck with the new diet. Thanks Wednesday2000. Good work on the decluttering - slow & steady wins the race.
Seems a sensible way to go about meals newlywed. It would work for DH & I but unfortunately DSis is a bit of a fussy eater 🙁 Glad that your OH is not suffering anymore & I am hoping that my DH’s cauterisation works so well 🤞 Quite agree that’s a cheap price for gold dust 😆
Thanks RepentHoarder - DH is definitely feeling a lot better - now he just has to try not to sneeze 🤞 Excellent work on the garden clearance 👏 & I absolutely love that garden clearing is a reward for hours sat at the computer 😊.
Well done on doing any decluttering villagelife 👏 If you have had the nice weather, then you have your reason for not doing more 😉 although I see you did more later 👏
Dramatic is definitely the appropriate word, bit_by_bit & so bad that it made me feel queasy 🤢 Re his blood pressure - a one off due to the anxiety of what was practically an 13 hour nosebleed 😱 with none of the usual remedies working 🙁 Well done on the decluttering 👏, topping up the tan 👏 , planning for retirement 👏 & your decision re books 👏 You are keeping busy & putting me to shame 😞
I like it short_bird 😉TC77, 🤞 that the cauterisation has worked. Great work on the decluttering 👏 Re the perfume, perhaps a few drops in a spray bottle filled with water as an air freshener? I am cheering you on to reach 1,000 by month’s end 😁 You should definitely count the one out 😉

Another one hoping Dh's cauterisation works. I've heard it is quite painful for a good few weeks while the swelling goes down and it heels. Hopefully it will start to ease over the next week. x

Thanks Nicnak 👏 DH has quite a high pain threshold so it has all been uncomfortable rather than painful. No real swelling but struggling not to sneeze & has a continuous drip of the gel & of course is only allowed to wipe not blow🙁 However he is very relieved that it has stopped 🙂

I'm a bit at sea today, friend not answering messages which worries me, I'm sure she's ok but living on my own I rely on a few texts and messages to get me through and reassure me everyone's ok. I don't like to keep bothering my kids as they have their own lives. Apparently Freecycle is open again here and eBay are doing pickup for sending stuff so maybe I can raise a few £ and make a bit of space again here. £ are short as I haven't had a lodger for a couple of months now, that normally pays the council tax and the heating, Ive still got work for another few weeks and plenty of stores so I won't starve just yet but it's pretty lonely.Decluttering wise I decanted some cleaning things into one bottle and same with part used shower stuff. Small beer really.Magnolia Stellata10
