What is the most you can save with the 0.5% instant saver?
I've looked through the whole website and can't find a specfic number!
There is no limit but you'd be well advised not to keep more than £85k in total, across all your Virgin Money accounts.

I've downloaded the app but can't login. All I have is my customer number, they told me I would get an email and a text to set up everything but it's asking me for passwords and pins which I don't have. I don't have an online banking password or telephone banking pin. Is all this sent in the post?

I can't remember now, but I think I did set up a password as part of the original application.

Have you checked your spam folder for emails from them?

Have you tried 'I don't know my password'?

You would also be advised to include any money you have in Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank as they all share the same licence.

I now know I got one of the credit questions wrong.
I thought this might have been what happened to me, but they've got back to me to say that my application got "stuck in a loop" due to a technical issue and that it was never even submitted for the credit check. Makes sense since I haven't seen anything on the credit report. I have to start a new application from scratch :/

After giving up going round in circles I managed to get it opened on the phone. Apparently they have an “exceptions list” for customers who can’t apply online due to “technical difficulties”, and they will be manually sent the email with the wine code.

Even when it was opened I had to dredge up from the back of my memory my old B telephone PIN to be able to reset my password to set up the app.

This is a known "feature" of the Virgin Money application and/or login. If you had a current account or credit card with their predecessor organisations, they somehow expect you to use your old password ........

tried to apply online 16th Nov, got told I was already a customer (Honestly I had forgotten about this, YB business acc from 8 years ago)
phoned up on 17th and got my old customer number, did the application myself online
switch was set for 7th Dec to give me time to set up DD's on my donor account
received my wines code today and I have ordered, it says 14 days delivery so hopefully it'll get here for xmas & new year
I wasn't sure If I would qualify for the wines as I was technically not a new customer, but it seems I do :)

Got my wine code on Tuesday and did the order, ticked for updates, but didn't get any confirmation. Then got sent the same code again yesterday but it says it isn't valid. When you use your code should I have expected a confirmation email?

I applied on 18/11 and they still haven't got back to me! For some reason the automatic credit check failed so they had to check manually. Shouldn't really take 3 weeks though! Tried to chase them by phone which sent me to a webchat which was for savings only, was like trying to get blood out of a stone getting to the right place. Finally got through on the phone and was told that there was a "technical issue" with the credit check but they'd get back to me "as soon as possible".
Only chasing because I want the wine!
I now know I got one of the credit questions wrong. They then phoned and said could  I send ID doc and to do this online. I did this  about the 20 November.  I was advised I would hear within two business days but still waiting. I only did it for the wine.

I didn't hear back initially after sending documents. 2 weeks later I phoned them, and they said it should be normally processed within 2 days.
I re-sent the documents and heard back within hours
    So worth re-sending
