    What a long winded way of changing a password. I know we need to be secure but it seems you end up being logged in online and via the app too to complete the action.
    Well it worked for me after I got a text supplying the code.

    Must have been 6 attempts, why my original password wouldn't work who knows?
    Strange. As mentioned in my post yesterday, I changed my password on the app without needing any codes.

    It's not the best app I've used, slow, sometimes I wonder if it will open. Had problems before and I got my account blocked, it seems they didn't like me moving my money out of both accounts on the same day.

    Anyways trying for some more free wine re the email some have had.
  • Has anyone taken up the 2nd wine offer who received the email for existing customers on the 29th October? 

    Were you successful with getting the voucher code (if you had a wine offer before) and did you have direct debits where the T&C's don't state anywhere that you need them? 

    I know I might be too early asking where it says voucher should come within 14 days after switch, but I know last time it came within a week.

    I'm waiting for new debit card to arrive and will then initiate. Virgin have already sent me a chase email reminding me I don't have long to apply for the switch! The one I'm switching has no DD on the account.

    I had the original email invitation to complete a switch into a second account I opened some time ago. Awaiting the card/pin for that they say they'll send although I already have a card for that account. Last week I had another email telling me to complete the switch in from another account for the wine offer. Obviously the second email acted as a reminder.
    Anyways for me it's too early to expect  wine code to cash in, it'll come hopefully before Christmas. Not really fussed about the wine TBH, better than nowt, saves me buying it for the OH, she enjoyed the last case.👍

    There was no switching offer when I originally opened my Virgin current account.  I took up the recent email offer for existing customers.  My switch completed on 9 November, with no direct debits.  I received the email today with free wine code.  Order placed, and should arrive within 14 days.
