When did you pay £1000 to linked saving account for wine code did you pay money to savings account directly or via current account?
I paid it in via the Current account (but mainly so I didn't have to set up another payment up to the other account)
    Thank you. Makes sense.

Got my virgin wines code today. This was my second Virgin account. I missed the switch deadline on my first account so I thought I'd try again. I asked customer service if I could get the wines on this second account as I missed the first and they said no. But clearly they were wrong.

Also I did not switch any direct debits from my donor account. I just set up the virgin account on 2 paypal  accounts and transferred a few quid to each. These obviously counted as direct debits and clearly they don't need to come from the account you switch.

    Worth trying a second time!!!
I got my code today too.  I wasn't sure I would because only one DD is showing on the account after I switched.  Maybe they were just feeling generous today!
Wine received today, just in time for the weekend!

Writing here almost daily doesn't help. Try to phone them instead and ask what is going on.
I did but would only confirm they have details on system. Hence the reason posting on a regular basis and not daily as you so wrongly put it.
  • How long on average does it take to receive a wine code once you met all requirements for the offer?

  • Tried to open a VM Current Account this morning, however, stalled as it claimed I was already a member of the group and should sign in and apply that way.

    Issue is, I'm not!

Closed B account 3 years ago.

Been listening to annoying "hold" music for last 30 minutes now.

Wondering if it is worth the effort. Especially if this is CS at its finest!

This was the first of many unresolvable issue with me
You will have to login with your original B customer number if you still have it somewhere and then take it from there.
    Bon chance

    • The poor only have expenses.

19/01 Applied for the account (completed switch as part of the application).
in the days between this I Installed the app, moved £2,000 in to the account (shifted £1,000 of this into the linked saver).
28/01 Switch completed - switched with 2 DDs as part of that.
02/02 Received wine code by email
05/02 redeemed code and now waiting for wine - hopefully it arrives before the weekend!
