Ooooh @taka !!   That is so ridiculously exciting!  What lovely news during a rubbish time.  Congratulations.
Thank you! £49.85 confirmed as the payment and now sent so... I'm mortgage free!
#51 £115 for August (£4711.30 for the YTD) = MORTGAGE FREE!

Next challenge... save up the cost of getting the mortgage related standard security on my property removed (a separate step involving a solicitor and their fee in Scotland :| ) . Can I stay for the rest of the year to save up for this? £360 is hopefully enough so that is my challenge between now and the end of the year! :D

Brilliant news taka - congrats B)

    Thank you both!

Somewhat ironically I'm now thinking of moving... prob not until next year though. I'd love to have a private garden, even if I could only afford for it to be postage stamp sized. Need to get Dad's estate finalised 1st before I know what sort of budget I could possibly have to play with and whether it is remotely feasible as my city's property prices are horribly high... That and I need time to declutter my flat within an inch of its life! :D
    Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!
