creditavenger said:Well done Colsten.
I've Just tried to log into my Quidco account and surprise, surprise it has been blocked.
My wife's account has also suffered a similar fate.
The message asking me to contact the Quidco support team is a "broken link". Does anybody have a contact email address for them?
Also, I'd be grateful if whoever contacted the Mail last time could pm me the contact details they used, just in case it comes to that.3 -
For those with an appetite for badly drafted offers from a cashback site that thinks your cashback is their cashback c/o Transaction Integrity Manager this offer ‘expires’ in 3 days.0

This is why we will continue to be proactive in protecting the quality of our traffic.

They were shown in a pretty bad light last time.
Attempting to confiscate members legitimately earned cashback, and then keeping it for themselves, to me seems much worse!
Quidco has been doing that for years. For the most part, it's a scam company run by thieves.

This is why we will continue to be proactive in protecting the quality of our traffic. But we at Quidco will always let the referral fee/cashback be paid to us by the retailer before we shaft the customer that did all the work. That way we get to keep all the money innit. Because we keep the money we don’t return it to the ‘abused’ retailer. So who’s the abuser?

Ideas for for bringing the dodgy dealings of Quidco to more public awareness:
After reading colsten later post I would advise hanging fire on these possible future actions. Best WAIT UNTIL DECISION RECEIVED FROM QUIDCO then if against you consider these actions.
1. email debbie.crosbie@tsb.co.uk Tell Debbie CEO of tsb what the transaction integrity manager of Quidco likes to do with the cashback the tsb affiliate sends to Quidco when members qualify for an offer.
2. email martinlewis@itv.com Martin has a weekly itv show on Thursday nights and asks viewers to email in their questions. One might be why would a cashback site like Quidco seek to purloin the cashback paid by retailers to Quidco members who are paid cashback but then Quidco step in to take it and block the member from their account. Why don’t Quidco return the cashback to the retailer if they are so ‘moral’. Why do they treat those who fall foul of the ‘transaction integrity manager‘ like criminals.3. Contact the Daily Mail this is money team with an update on the tsb Quidco cashback debacle (only this time tsb are getting it right and Quidco are stepping in to block nearly all the members accounts who were awarded the cashback in their accounts to seemingly retain the cashback and indeed waited for tsb to make the payments to Quidco before blocking the accounts which was set up in advance to be automatic.2 -
