Do you have to do anything different if you already have a TSB account or just click through Quidco and sign up?
Edit: applied and tracked already. thanks.0 -

Quidco states paid in a week, which I found surprising considering you have to meet 3 months T&C's.0 -
I'm facing a delay b4 I can gain access to my account to meet the operating conditions (new ID, failed to activate, must go to branch for manual merging with existing online ID) is it urgent that I start complying (say) this month or can I safely leave it a few weeks b4 making a trip in branch?
Thnx
You could phone the number on the back of the debit card and ask for them to request manual merging. I did this and it took them about 48 hours to carry it out.
Once in the same place and using the App its much easier to do the £500 in and out without flagging possible fraud as the app uses fingerprint recognition.
I'd try and carry out all their conditions this month too don't know if strictly necessary but easier to just do it than wonder if I need to, belt and braces.0 -
My Quidco account shows expected payment date exactly 2 months after the application date
My Quidco tracked and states payment expected 2nd December 2019 even though it will be declined.0 -

Separate profiles is not necessarily a bad thing, as it does let you benefit in other (probably unintended) ways. However, it appears they are getting marginally better at automatically merging profiles following opening... although they are still missing more than they are finding in my own experience.0 -
I opened accounts for myself and OH.
Put £500 in his and couldn't transfer it back out again.
Had to go in branch today with ID.
Tried to do same on mine tonight but thought I would try a different amount (not £500) and that got declined as well.
Just been on the phone for half an hour and the block will hopefully be lifted in an hour.
I know they've got to be careful about fraud/money laundering but this is a bit OTT.
You need your password etc to log in then they send you a password to your phone when setting up a new payment.
Surely this should be enough ?
Don't think I will be keeping this account after the Quidco cashback.0 -

I tried £1.00 to new payee, my account elsewhere. 2 minutes after I had gone through TSB equifax identity check procedure and that was declined whilst I was still on phone to them.0 -

Pity it doesn't realise its the TSB condition to credit £500 to the account that causes the problem. I explained I'm getting an incentive from a cashback site and I'm not leaving £500 in the account earning no interest. They were happy with that!;)bristolleedsfan wrote: »I tried £1.00 to new payee, my account elsewhere. 2 minutes after I had gone through TSB equifax identity check procedure and that was declined whilst I was still on phone to them.
It may be, I'm guessing here, that transfer out of a new account via an existing internal account doesn't trigger any alerts.0 -
Not had a problem myself - so far I've paid the first £500 in from another bank but out via transfer to one of my pre-existing TSB accounts and then out from that back to where it came from.

It happens when the system doesn't link your new account to your existing customer profile as it thinks you're a new customer (and therefore you're more risky until it gets to know your activity) and you immediately send money in then try to send it back out again. To get round this you can set up a standing order or future dated payment before sending the money in.0 -

I am assuming that internal xfers will count towards the 2 monthly transactions needed.0
