I can't rememmber if it said it recoreded the visit or not??
I just tried to raise a claim on quidco, all of the details about the offer were in there for me to select(eg, TSB offer, the date I did it (18th) and the amount of £50, so it must know I've done it) but right at the end i can't submit it because it just says make sure the tickbox is ticked, even though it is ticked:mad:

I've only used topcashback before and sometimes had problems and had to make a claim. There MAY be a waiting period before you can put in a claim? With TCB its about 7 days after purchase. I do usually get the cashback when I have to put in a claim but it can take 3 to 9 months!

Nothing to stop you making a second application, maybe as Premium member then get £57.50 covers the charge to quidco when earning. Main thing is cookies enabled and in my case getting a new iPad as these CB sites or their merchants don't seem to like older operating systems.

Alsomshouldnsaynwhen I said previously that when you click away from TSB back tonQuidconand shows we have recorded your visit that's going back to the original quidco opened window not starting afresh which happens by default after closingbTSB.

It may be a waiting period thing as Yorkshirepud suggests.

Bear in mind that under the terms of the offer you have to operate the account for 3 months, paying in at least 500 per month and making at least 2 transactions per month. So you can't 'claim' your cashback yet - you won't have qualified for it yet.

All you can do is make sure it tracked - and if it's in your history on quidco it has, presumably, tracked.

That is likely to be due to putting purchase value as 0.00, if 1.00 is input for purchase value the tick in the tickbox will be accepted.:)

Is there any reason not to just Register for Internet banking?

Thanks for the suggestion. It didn't work when I tried this with one of the older accounts as it said I already had a, "contract."

Anyway, it has been resolved after I called TSB. The guy I spoke to said there was a misconfiguration and had me give him my email and telephone number and I was texted a new password. When I got in all the accounts were there. It didn't seem like a new thing to him. :rotfl:

  • Hi

Any existing customers been told they need a separate login if they want access to the new account as they are having ongoing issues. Not a problem for me but seems very odd.

    Cheers

Not sure if that's a statement or a question? Who is the source, TSB?

For new applicants through Quidco I have been told by TSB that during online application if you leave the ID and Password boxes blank and if you are an existing customer using the same details, name address etc then it should link you up subsequently. N.B. DOES NOT WORK!

Thats what I was told anyway dont know if it works or stops the application until the boxes are filled. Stop Press: I tried this and it didnt work, I DID have to input ID and Password to proceed with application.

Another TSB do is when they send the PIN letter, apart from the PIN there is NOTHING tonidentifynit as belonging to any account apart from the date it was sent. Two accounts opened? You have to guess which is which!:rotfl:

I've asked for my accounts to be amalgamated, this has to be done manually if it doesn't marry up electronically.

Also TSB flagged up my £500 in/out as possible fraud and froze the account! Twice.

Nice to know, but a bit late for me. I've ended up with a Classic account with a different user id and password to my existing Classic Plus and an email about waiting for an activation code by post, so I can't access it at them moment.

At least it tracked on Quidco, my first ever cashback transaction with them :money:

    This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."
