Due to the amount of parties involved, we can never guarantee cashback. However, as long as you follow the terms and conditions for the cashback offer you should have no problems.
Remember, cashback is a referral fee that is due to Quidco, once we receive it, we'll pass it along to you as cashback. If we don’t receive that fee, we’re unable to pass that on to you. Rest assured though, our specialist team will work tirelessly to get the cashback for you.
I have in the past put it to Quidco that Maple Syrup Media Ltd through its trading name issued a contract based on a list of conditions. I agreed to those conditions and it quidco and I that are under contract. Blaming your suppliers known as affiliates is of no concern to me . If Quidco Failure to honour said contract is a misrepresentation under UK law and quidco's terms can't override this. They have always paid out using the strap line " from our own funds ". I have no idea if my argument would stand up but it seems to achieve the desired effect.a misrepresentation is an untrue or misleading statement of fact made during negotiations by one party to another, the statement then inducing that other party to enter into a contract.0 -
My claim has now changed to tracked.0

Hi all!
So as I am sure many of you have seen the issue with TSB has now been resolved and all cashback amounts will once again track as normal.
I do apologise on behalf of us all here for any annoyance caused with all this but I am told this will all now be resolved.
Any more issues do get in touch via customersupport@quidco.com and we will help you out

So my point still stands, branch can't help with this, all that's happened is you've worried them so much they just bunged you compo for a completely invalid reason.
Your complaint is with Quidco and their agents. Not with TSB.
Well that's your opinion and I respect it and you're entitled to it. They didn't have to offer me a Sausage it was at their discretion, I didn't make demands for compensation, that would make me look churlish The manager at my branch, and it was the manager, btw, was courteous, I did not feel fobbed off, it's easy to be cynical but sometimes people in retail, DO, try to go the extra mile, from personal experience, it helps more often than not when making initial enquiries to be polite but businesslike and not overtly assertive when looking to get anywhere, IN LIFE. Success not guaranteed though as I'm sure we all know too well. God gave us all a tongue, so use it.
As to who's responsible for this saga, yes you've explained it ad infinitum that Quidco and not TSB are responsible, that goes without saying. it's crystal clear now, thanks! Also happy for one and all that Quidco, Joseph, and the affiliate seem to be coming to terms with their erroneous application of the contract terms and hopefully being rectified in good time.
Well I don't feel misled, should I. I don't see the point of formally registering a complaint, they gave me a goodwill gesture. What would you suggest??? Go through the external complaint procedure, and if that fails the Bank ombudsman, or take them to court for libel! A bit heavy handed. Perhaps you have experience of this, in which case please enlighten us. And if all comes to pass and in the nuclear scenario nobody gets Cashback then at least I got something by visiting my local branch, something that you and everyone else pondering this statement, should consider.0 -
yes mine tracked fine! thanks op and TSB. I always make sure that the tracking page come up before I make the application/order. If it doesn't I do it again on Quido/Topcashback. VPN/blocked cookies can also stop tracking.0

Keep your hair on, I was merely pointing out that, despite you being better off by £50 the TSB branch told you complete lies, and they did mislead you,
They told you the Quidco offer was only for switching. They were talking complete nonsense and did not help your complaint. They should have advised you to go to Quidco - that would be the only way to help your compliant. You say you don't feel misled and don't feel fobbed off - but you were, both! Great, you got £50, well done, but only because TSB messed up in how they responded to you. I'm sure the manager was courteous - it's his job to be.
Suggesting you could complain about that was merely a suggestion. And a valid one, as they lied to you. No need to take up the suggestion though.
Quite why you'd think it might have to go the ombudsman I don't know - as it is very clearly crystal-clear poor service (telling you lies about the conditions) and I'd guess TSB would admit that very quickly and easily when it's pointed out.
As for 'taking them to court for libel'.... there's no court involved, and there's been no libel by either side. Not sure what you're on there!
As for suggesting others go to branch too - I would guess that every branch has now been briefed on the Quidco debacle and so anyone going now would get a more considered response - i.e. told to go to Quidco, and not given a gratuitous £50.1 -
Thank you for your response. We are all in the same boat over this. Its best to be objective, nothing can be gained through argument, but frameworks like this can be a force for good, and to paraphrase: words can be as decisive as actions. The general perception of injustice permeating the waves in this thread is very tangible. So I applaud the most vocal of critics, you, Colsten, Yorkshire Pud, in saying what needs to be said, clearly, concisely, succinctly. I just sincerely hope all that followed the rules, set out by Quidco, get their cashback. For I would be flabbergasted if this wasn't the case.0

My cashback becomes payable 90 days after account opening which will be Sunday 16th February 2020. Maybe the day after then, working day. Fingers crossed there isn’t an unexpected glitch (or an expected glitch!)0
