Who says this? £500 in is a transaction and £500 out is another transaction.0 -
Who says this? £500 in is a transaction and £500 out is another transaction.
£500 IN is a transaction FROM another account i.e. counts as a transaction for the account the £500 came from so not a transaction for this offer.
Now shoot me down in flames if you want, maybe do your own research, not saying I’m actually right mind, this is the internet remember why get into stupid arguments about banking terminology I’m very happy that a transaction is £500 in to a tsb account for all those that believe it:o
Apparently the banking industry says it but like most things I’m sure you can also find evidence to the contrary:)0 -

What a surprise...
Another decline & on a weekend as well..
Claim set up. Thanks to Yorkie pud for the advise.
Also email to supportHi.
Just noticed that my TSB £50 has been declined. Seems odd that in the T/C for this offer is "Cashback is only available if for the first three months from account opening you pay in at least £500 each month and make two transactions per month" yet the decline date is only 2 months after account opening.
Who sets the payment date? You or retailer?
There is also a long thread @ moneysaving forums about this subject and all the declines.

Is it TSB declining the claims?
If so then they are not abiding with the T/C of the offer.
Pleas look into this matter and what appears to be poor retailer handling of cashback.Life in the slow lane0 -

Everyone do your own research.
My cashback has all been declined though so I may be wrong.0 -

Well if I search on TSB internet banking for any transactions between 2 dates it comes up with everything that has gone in or out of the account.
If you are using a bank statement for proof of address, TSB specify that the statement must show at least 2 transactions to show you are using the account. I think the same principle is in these T&Cs.0 -
Hands up please, if you also have TSB transactions tracked without an estimated payment date.
If so, have any of them been declined? Does anyone have an estimated payment date for any TSB transactions made after November 26?
I have several TSB transactions myself. The only one with an estimated payment date has been declined on that very date (I maintain that it is likely that this was done by an automated Quidco process).
My TSB transactions without an estimated payment date were all made on or after November 30. It will be interesting to see whether anything happens to these once 2 months are up. I reckon they'll stay as tracked for some time to come.0
