Yes mate was in my account within 5 minutes.

She said that when the original advisor went through to the switcher team there was some confusion and they got the promotion mixed up. She said there wasn’t any notes on my account at all regarding any switch let alone Quidco.

It’s been a shambles from start to finish

So she is effectively saying that it was Quidco, not TSB, who declined the cashback? This would make a certain amount of sense to me, as I suspect the decline was triggered by some inconsistencies in the Quidco system. Although, with TSB you never know!

Why would Quidco decline the cashback?
The money comes from TSB in this case. So it has to be TSB who are saying no.

well, precisely. That's what we want to know.

We also want to know why Quidco assigned expected payment dates up to 1 month before anyone could assess whether the T&Cs have been met. And then, willy-nilly, change the status of the tracked records to 'declined', on exactly the date that was wrongly assigned as expect payment date.

Quidco has been totally silent about it even they know very well by now that these questions are out on the MSE Forum. Not answering the questions, and not commenting at all about this shambles, does reflect quite badly on Quidco.

Of course the promised money comes from TSB. This doesn't proof at all that there is no error on Quidco's part, though.

Had my first 'decline' now, too. Exactly on the incorrectly set "expected payment date", like the others.

I couldn't get as far as filling in a claim form, as TSB don't appear to be listed now as a Retailer. So I just sent an email to Quidco support.

I would doubt that Quidco assign the payment dates. That will be down to the retailer. Same with the decline, that again will be the retailer.
If you query any decline. Quidco query it with the retailer. Hence all the info they require on any dispute.
I have seen payment dates change before.

If you go to support @ Quidco. It states that if you dispute a claim and it is declined. The retailers decision is final.
Although years ago. I did push after a decline and quidco payed the cashback themselves.

I now have TWO entries for November 24 in my Quidco Transactions list. One with status declined, and one with status tracked. Anyone else who sees their transactions duplicated?

(no, I did NOT apply for 2 TSB accounts on Nov 24, and the duplicate only appeared this afternoon)

I am sure we will never know what really happened but I remain convinced that Quidco has a hand in the mess. At the very least, they should have ensured that there cannot be an expected payment date that is earlier than the T&Cs allow.

Also, the fact that I now see two TSB transactions for the same date, one declined and one tracked, tells me that Quidco is messing about with the processing of the TSB offer.

Yes, that's what I see, but the tracked one has 'claim' next to it, so I assumed this was part of the claim process.

Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."

My 'tracked' one only appeared after I submitted a claim. Did you submit a claim before you'd noticed this tracked one appeared?

    Only got one showing here...

Guess tommorow will tell, although it just a estimate, and not uncommon for payments to come through later than said.
