That's the rubbish MSE Towers template. Not for use here (or anywhere for private parking tickets).

What you use is the blue text template located in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1.

Can you remove that completely please (delete the post) in case newbies think it is to be used?

It is diabolically bad of MSE to still have this terrible 'appeal' as their example and I have contacted them again only last month to try to get it changed.

It COSTS people money if they use that awful awful template, and lose the case.

I posted last week about receiving one of these.

''The letter says date issued 8th Nov but the date of sending this notice is actually 9th December but we only received it last week!''

I have just gone on the UKCPS site to process the appeal and I no longer have this option. I have just read it has to be within 21 days of the date on the letter but I never received it at that time. What would I do now?

Wait to see if they issue court proceedings against you. There is no quick fix we can provide you with.

Bookmark and keep reading this thread (and other similar ones) so you get a heads up if UKCPS start making moves towards court proceedings.

Should i not appeal by post to UKCPS?

The NTK actually says date issued 8th Nov but the' date of sending' the notice is 9th December but we only received it the week before xmas anyway and with it being xmas & ny, we havent had chance to appeal.

We were going to appeal anyway but didnt realise it was 21days
  • Correction please. Dates should be from 15th of December till 27th as sometime in between the new sign on the wall went up. Upload date on youtube part 1 was 23rd of October.

Yes , appeal as keeper , with a free certificate of posting from the post office counter

This will be rejected , regardless , so don't get your hopes up

The matter will be settled in court , by a judge , if it gets that far

How does that matter? Appeals don't work v IPC firms.

I am pleased to see several cases together on this thread - this is a rare issue where a group thread is working well. At court stage we may have to deal with each person separately but not right now during the pointless appeal stage then keeping ALL letters but ignoring them until court papers, if they ever come.

Yes I did get a reply but they said they couldn’t to anything and to top it all off I have today received another letter for a second offence I literally dropped my daughter off as she was late for her train I was no more than 30 seconds and they have send me a second letter - I must missed the first one so I haven’t had the chance to appeal do this one is immediately at 100 quid so they have got me twice once when I picked her up and once when I dropped her off. The landlord said they gave everyone a months grace before the enforced these charges but I am sorry to say I paid the first One but I am NOT Paying this one not for stopping for 30 seconds - I just don’t know now where I stand as I haven’t appealed the first one as I don’t remember receiving the letter . So please don’t flipping pay it - hold out and be strong
