Apologies. I meant to say only dates embedded are video published dates . The new sign on the wall was not there on the 23rd December part 1 video and next visit was on the 27th December and noticed the new sign . So that means the new sign on the wall went up between 23rd the 27th December. I'm sure parking company will have a record and date for this new sign as they must get permission from landlord before they do so.0

Hi can you tell me what date you took this video please0

Hi,
In the same boat as everyone here. Dropped off for a train on Sunday 10/11/19, Collected on Friday 15/11/19. Two PCN NTK's received outside of the 14 day period, one was on 29th day.
Have appealed both on UKCPS site, requesting POPLA code, none forthcoming as of yet.
Since they haven't given a code, do I sit & wait until it goes to court? Nothing on this thread has actually said what's next after having initial appeal rejected (which we knew would happen) but not getting POPLA code. I am not going to take it to IAS.
I shall write a letter of complaint to the BPA and the IPC in the meantime, since UKCPS are Corporate Members and not just AOS members, as I have just checked.
I took pics of the new signs on 19th Dec, since I'm pretty damn sure they weren't there when we visited the site in November. The fact that they've put new signs up indicates to me that the previous ones weren't adequate, which is going to be one of my challenges when I get the POPLA codes, or go to court, whichever is sooner.
Regards to all!0 -
No chance of getting a popla code because ukcps are in the BPA AOS list
It's appeal once , then ignore until a formal LoC or Court claim arrive within 6 years
Which is exactly the same for every IPC member , as explained in the newbies faq sticky thread near the top of the forum
The BPA won't be interested because ukcps aren't in their arbitration scheme and do not follow their CoP , almost every parking company are corporate members of the BPA , but the BPA will fob you off with not our problem pal
Leave it for court , preferably Manchester court1 -
You need to read UKCPS threads and should never have asked for a POPLA code.
See you all when you get court claims. No need for anything else unless an MP steps in but do try a complaint to your MP and please get this scam site publicised in the local paper and send people here for advice.
I would suggest maybe we need a joint thread for these ones as the arguments will all be the same, like in the UKPPO Newcastle Airport group thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

That was me measuring the signs! You should have said hello
I think this is quite a unique one... I have read everything on here also and there is nothing similar.
What is the latest? I had the same 'no stopping' fine, twice in two days!
I contested them thoroughly with help from these forums. I wrote a lengthy letter quoting regulations and historical rulings. It got me nowhere. They rejected it immediately.
I then went to the (misleadingly named) Independent Appeals Service (IAS)
My mitigation was 1000 words in length, including a photograph. There's was just one dismissive sentence! Still, the IAS ruled in their favour saying that they provided more evidence!
I was given 14 days by the ‘IAS’ to pay. That was 12 days ago.
I have been unable to locate an address for the Landowner. So that hasn't been an option.
The email address above seems to have brought no joy for others.
I will write to my MP (and some media outlets) tonight (NYE!) but I doubt it will make it to anyone's attention for a few weeks.
Will this now go to go to court?
I really don’t want to give in. It's definitely a scam!
There are THREE main reasons why this fine should not be upheld:
1. The sign on the entrance to the area only faces in one direction. It is therefore invisible to cars entering from one side of the road.
2. The smaller signs within the ‘restricted area are too small. I have evidence to back this up.
3. There is no grace period. I had stopped for just 26sceonds. That's not even enough time to read a sign!.
Some advice on this would be very appreciated. I'm happy to share my letter
