    Thank you Skinty

Still struggling to walk, in a lot of pain, some is still from the day job.

Passed the webinar and have my certificate. Have to provide a case study for the one I did today; they never said else I wouldn't have signed up yet as I don't have the money to buy their kit. Did another webinar tonight and have an exam to submit.

Hot wax courses paid, it's in 2 weeks. I've noticed a vast difference in the manuals provided by the various trainers, I prefer the ones with the history, how it's developed over time, loads of details etc and will look at doing the holistic and massage training with the new company, assuming I gel with her; she's also a lot cheaper than my main trainer.

Think I've found somewhere to do a reasonably priced anatomy course, waiting to hear from the company as their products have a good rep.

    Been resting this evening.

    Thanks SH

I'm currently trying alternative treatment. Had 1 - 1.5 day relief depending on where used. I'm now trying it on the worst parts and ordered more.

Had a meeting with a company, sadly their initial package is a bit more than I wanted to spend on quality products and I'm trying to figure out how to fund it. Well worth the cost, it includes retail items to sell on to clients and a load of certified training.

I'll try and do my exam tomorrow or when I finish.

I've sent an enquiry for an anatomy course. They also do holistic and aromatherapy training too; it's what they specialise in.

Just resting and watching TV ☺️

    Thanks Skinty and DIA

Welcome back. I'll admit it was a surprise to me but I'm happy and enjoying this adventure!

I had sufficient relief and will reapply it before bed.

Followed up a previous enquiry with another product company and their initial bulk purchase is more pocket friendly, however I need to compare what's included against the other.

Submitted and passed my exam, will print the cert tomorrow.

The anatomy trainer is making enquiries with the accreditation company.
    - I've nearly got all the 'beauty' qualifications, and need the qualification to develop the holistic and massage side.

As for what's left of the month, I've Indian Head massage training next week, hot wax the following week with a few webinars dotted. There's other bits of interest, aromatherapy etc which are not accredited, however, I'll get enough of a feel to see if that co / course meets my needs.

    Super long weekend 😃

    Thank you SH

My beauty room is very close to being finished, only a few more touches to do.

Funny you say about "entrepreneurial success", I'm patch testing anyone who walks in the door and happens to mention brows or lashes, they have a few months to decide if it's for them and can book the treatment rather than deciding, having the test and then booking. Bestie can't believe she never thought of doing it that way 🤭 she also loving the different promo materials and products I've introduced.

As for the courses, webinars and every other type of training, people do the same service differently. The more ways I'm able to learn the easier it is to adapt if a client's condition makes things awkward for them, if my own health isn't great that day or there's a way which makes more sense or is easier, perhaps uses less product or is a neater application with less clean up after. I'm even getting to discover new products and the right way to use them.

Today's client has re-booked and will also have other treatments in between; I've said I'll work out an overall package as it's a regular pamper. She's keen to have the holistic side as and when I work my way through that training.

You know I strive to be really good at what I do, it's no different with beauty and I'm making great impressions 😊

I'm home, feet are up and everything has fallen into place.

    Thank you SH

I tried to avoid all business related matters yesterday and have a well deserved rest. Attempted two naps but couldn't sleep.

Today is a new day, Indian Head Massage was a joyful experience although I'll admit to being scared about getting practiced on and the trainer said they wouldn't have if they knew about my overall health! Anyhow, it's a muscle knot that restricted my limb movement and is causing the pain; much reduced now after the freebie 🤭
    - I've added it to my insurance and the advert is live.

I'll create a special packages poster for a few things, update my price list and prepare the next one tomorrow.

Found a fab stool ottoman in the CS, £15. I've begun packing my supplies bag ready to take with me too.

I'm waiting on deliveries of bed covers, spare towels and other items. They should arrive this week and will get added to the bag.

Only one more physical course to do, next week, and then I'll move on to online training. However, I'll have a mental break and focus on building my client base.

If the weather is ok I'll be at 2nd home in the morning 😁
