Thank you Skinty
This will take a while as I've badly pulled, possibly a couple of torn areas. Next to no sleep again as turning requires use of the painful areas.
I'm enjoying my new career, all the learning and client contact. Feels right, comes naturally and I'm looking forward to when this is full-time.
- There's the right movement to keep me agile without overdoing it, and when FT it's PT hours 🤭
When I've finished all the training I can move up a level on the massage side, if I want to, attend college to gain national qualifications or stick where I am.
Back to reality for a few days 😟Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Well, reality was fun. Found out exactly how much I'm valued as a PT post I've been waiting for was filled without being advertised. My suspicions have been confirmed that there were no intentions of keeping me on.
I'll start doing AG's anatomy course tomorrow. I'm confident it will provide insight into working with my health.
P&P are going to update me again and then I can book the Swedish training; takes 3+ months to complete. I'll also work through their free courses.
The sun is streaming through the window, I'm resting with my feet up, TomBo is cooking something that smells nice.

Sorry to hear about the PT post 😕
Hope the anatomy course is helpful. Glad you are resting when you can, it’s so difficult to function if you are not sleeping and in pain.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks Skinty and SH
The pain will ease when it's ready or after treatments for now it's tens, meds, C8D, hot water bottle and resting where I can.
- it's the trapezius muscles which are unhappy.
I've got P&Ps full body massage course and working through the theory. I have a couple of assignments to do before I move on to the next chapter. I'll see if I can get them done tomorrow as I need to use my laptop; I'll see if I can save this and the anatomy course and print them off.
We had pizza for tea ☺️

Very underhand of work to bypass you. Just as well you have other irons in the fire!
I feel for you with pain levels. I'm especially sympathetic as experiencing constant pain myself currently.

I'm sorry I missed the line about the part time job being filled without your knowledge. What does that mean? Is that just the extra hours you've been doing or the whole job?Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thank you DIA and SH
A mate who works PT is leaving, I've been specifically looking for the advert to go up as that would have allowed me to do PT day job covering bills with FT beauty covering itself. It never got advertised and instead were told interviews done and role filled 🤔 that's why my suspicions were right, I'd never get a perm job or contract extension.
Today was loads of fun and laughter. Managed my clients ok, including an IHM. Only a couple of squeaks from me as I'd planned how to carefully do all treatments.
I'm building a bit of a rep for having good products, buying with allergies in mind and being able to pretty much accommodate everything, while prices are kept reasonable and accessible to most.
I've picked up 2 volunteers to practice full body massage on, plus a client I'd already asked and I know Bestie will agree which should provide enough for me to get a range of practice on (ages late 20's - early 80's).
This week I will earn enough to cover my rent, tips are not included in that! I have paid my monthly rent and wonder if beauty will be covering itself from May; something to aim towards ☺️
Feet are up, I've the sun on my face and relaxing. This is how it should be after a day's work 😎Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
