    Thank you Skinty and DIA

If I ever find I'm your way I'd welcome the extra practice x

I can't wait too. It's the right balance of mental stimulation and physical movement. The way things are going I wouldn't be surprised if it's mainly facials and the various massages, with a bit of wax and tinting I'll be doing.

I'm up selling treatments where I've not had any clients book it yet, offering a personal discount for the initial appointment on the proviso it's full price from then on; it covers product cost and some towards an "income". Clients get to try something new, discounted just for them, and I get more experience which is a win-win situation.

I've split my earnings as I'm carrying to much as a float. I have 4 weeks to "earn" another £280 to cover my next rent period.

FBM tutor will work to my pace and is going to teach me additional techniques to work with, and protect, my health. I'll finish my first assignment and get that submitted.

Had a nice nap when I got in, woke to the smell of food. TomBo made a chicken and veg casserole with little roast spuds.

    Happy Easter 🐣

Hello. Do you think that your new business may be able to replace your employed salary adequately in the near future? Have you a timescale in mind? It would appear you have much greater enthusiasm for your own business than your other work.
Could the inheritance you mentioned ages ago act as a buffer as you transition from paid employment to being totally self-employed?
    Best wishes.

Thank you Skinty, DIA, SH and BD

It's madness month in my day job and my intention is to fully switch to beauty by the end of this year as the contract ends. I've spoke about plans previously, added a bit about recent events and it's noticed people are not speaking with / to me.

I've purchased my "posh" facial products (average 100 treatments from the pack) and 1L massage oils as that's where I'm building my reputation and what I enjoy the most. I've ordered hot stones and need to keep an eye out for a heater.

Once I've passed the FBM course I'll be jumping on to Hot Stones and that's it for this year, aside from free as hoc webinars and the outstanding free / conversion training; I qualify in my training buy really good products and get free training by that company so I know how to use them and have full knowledge to answer any client questions.

Not relying on the inheritance with plans as there's no progress and I can't add that stress to my life at the moment.

I've ordered a few things in an attempt to sort my poor muscles, and for when I end up the same again in the future.

Been resting with my feet up.

People at work are not speaking with / to you since you told them about your beauty plans / progress ? What small minded petty jealous people they are and they are not worth your time or efforts MF. x

    Thanks Skinty

When I said about plans, I meant what I've written in this diary.

I've only told two people in day job I trust about the beauty, they speak with me and are disgusted with everyone else. One of those two noticed how I'm being treated.
    - it's getting to me, at least it's not forever 😉

Got access to my "posh" products training and signed up for everything I could. I'll also read all the available free info and watch the various webinars.

First lot of hot stones arrived and they're gorgeous as are the freebies sent by the seller. I should be getting my books and day now too which will help and supplement my courses.

Must do my FBM coursework so I can move on to the next chapter of learning.

Hi moving forwards, sorry to hear the people at work are being horrid, you must be so pleased to have an exit plan already begun!

With the hot stone, when my last used to come to my house for ahit stone massage (which are so so good!) she used to bring them in a slow cooker, sitting in hot water.
Ive no idea what the correct pot would be, but the slow cooker worked for her!

I agree with @Flowerpot so much easier to manage when you have a plan  :)
