Thank you SH
Totally hit the spot and I'd highly recommend it to everyone 😊 she does 6 different treatments and once my current issue is resolved I'll be booking in for her Thai lower body unless it would be too much to start with 🤭
Bestie was out of line, asked me the cost of buying the products for a treatment in front of a client, said I can afford to do it for free as it didn't cost much! It's sample size I can afford to get and I charge under half the recommended price for the service!
I've had quite abrupt contact from bestie this week, until asked about some products I gave her - I pass things on for free I don't like using as I know she is struggling financially - couldn't get her head round it, never thought to check the co site or the other things I gave her; very embarrassed and humble 😉
One of the reasons I returned for a second helping of sale was this co do matching varnishes to their gels. I only picked a few up the first time and I also forgot to look for other items I wanted; that's why I wasn't too happy with myself.
- honestly, the varnish colours are phenomenal and as my clients are mature ladies, they're not into gels. I just need to find an accredited varnish course, which is easier said than done!
I'll be doing my nails today, a bit of training, pack a few things for work and do my advert.

Hope things have improved MF & you are having a good weekend. Varnish colours sound great, as a mature lady myself 😉 I would go for them rather than gels. 😊0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thank you Skinty
I really like 'normal' varnish too only not many places offer it anymore, which is daft as what I've purchased can last 2+ weeks, which is on par with when gels need to be redone due to growth.
We cleared the air, I'm having training from Bestie (I just go with it as she's quick to pounce before I can tweak anything or naturally speed up). I did pass comment to her about a chat I overheard, explained why something took so long; that totally turned the situation round for "going the extra mile" and "great customer service" 😆 The next was in and out in 5 mins which she never said anything about me.
- 'bad' days are connected to her personal stress / problems and I feel there is some envy about my products.
Was a good weekend, more regular bookings for the big treatments, and in the direction I'm developing.
- £155 rent needed over the next 2 weeks.
Saturday evening I did some of my anatomy course and will dip in and out of that. The speaker is 'non-emotional / monotone', so I struggle to focus and stay awake!
- she's the only one who does 'normal' varnish training 😶
Yesterday I did some of my FBM course, more today, and I hope to submit my second coursework in a few days. After that I've a block of learning, online demo, practice on my volunteers, when I'm happy, take my practical exam; video conference to watch as I do a full session with one of my client's.
- I'll do hot stones with this company as I like how the course is done.
It took perseverance but I've finally purchased a hot towel / Thai Herb steamer and it's due tomorrow!
Plans for the week is get through as much FBM as I can and book in the demo, do my 'posh' facial training, more of the anatomy course and scheduled webinars.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
The facial steamer sounds like something you could get personal as well as client use from.

I'm rolling with it to keep the peace and room.
The towel / herb steamer arrived today, nice size and I can bring my domestic towel steamer home; it has face steamer setting but I'm not trained in that so couldn't offer it within a service.
I finished my FBM coursework last night, want to tweak a few bits before submitting it and moving on; fresh eyes and all that.
As I know the direction I'm taking my business in, there's a highly respected membership I can obtain. My FMB course is dual accredited by my current co AND the highly respected co. Happened to notice my IHM certificate is too 😊
- mooching online last night I found another potential training team, who offer a lot of interesting courses, and are only accredited by highly respected co. I've kept the details.
Did a mini facial on myself using samples from "posh" co, only did 2 steps of it but I'll be buying the pro size when I get paid for using at home 😁
- my clients are going to 😍 the facials with these products!
I've also got a confession. I've started buying 🎅 gifts already 😶

It makes sense to buy things when you see them and put the away.
Facials sound good as do the products. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

The buy when appear, in a sale, approach is what I've taken as a way to upgrade my 'basic' items to the companies and products I want to use. Of course it's costing money and while I'm not based in a posh salon, it doesn't mean I don't want to give the best experience, with the safest products I possibly can.
I'm getting, and keeping, clients. They take a lot of interest in what I'm able to offer, add it into their visit, don't feel rushed and enjoy what they get. I'm blossoming 😊
Received fantastic feedback for the first coursework I submitted. Must get the second tweaked and submitted. I'm waiting on a date for my demo as I want to get stuck into practising.
- must admit I'm very keen to get hot stones and Thai herbal underway, shame they're distance learning as it would be nice to experience it myself.
I've enough left of my facial samples to have another little pamper tomorrow, I'll use a bit of the serum each day.
- their product manual is 164 pages, think the training is 5h just for the facials and I'll be doing the spa one after that as it's where the massage side is covered 😶
Thankfully I do have a couple of days off the day job over the next month!
Time for bed, sweet dreams 🥰Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

My private therapist is moving too far, for me, as it'll impact fatigue levels.
Winter is slow to go this year however, I was able to switch the heating fully off. There's sun but it's still cold out.
I'm currently giving serious consideration to reducing day job hours by a day but need beauty rent to be self-funding for that to be viable; even FT beauty is only PT hours with a later start and early finish 🤭
I've got my FBM demo Monday, looking forward to that. I'll tweak and submit the coursework tomorrow and get through some more of the course over the weekend.
Next week I also have a 1-2-1 waxing chat and nail webinars.
As it gets very warm doing longer treatments eg IHM and facials I've ordered some ³/4 length trousers. I'm hopeful summer will arrive at some point and ordered a couple of jumpsuits for general wear.
I'll be busy first thing as I'll have a shower and swap my varnish over before heading out 😊

Had a wonderful day.
Started with a few coffees at home, did my nails dark plum / multicoloured sparkles with a gel effect top coat, nice shower and slow walk to work; oh that commute is a tough one 🤭
Did a delightful IHM treatment, the client is booked in monthly and will rotate between that and facials, will also add in my others as and when I qualify. Explained they're all be the same price and I'm keeping them affordable.
- mentioned the "posh" products, how I've been sampling them this week, got told my skin looks good and they're looking forward to a facial.
Tomorrow I've a regular who is rotating fortnightly, again they'll add in the others when I'm offering them. I've also got another big booking tomorrow from a walk-in and she wants smaller treatments on a regular basis.
Bestie now understands my thinking with the big treatments I keep promoting, cannot believe how everything has taken off so quickly and wasn't aware I had regular or block bookings. Wants me to keep pushing them and said I'll be back to back soon ☺️
£115 rent needed for next Saturday; not including tomorrow's bookings.
The sun is streaming through the lounge, TomBo is popping out for Chinese in a bit.
