  • I gave in and booked a chiro appointment the other week. Wasn't able to stretch out or massage out the cracks I needed 😫😆 was in as much pain for a week after it as I was before lol. However feel great now so I hope your appointment comes round quick for you! (My chiro always seems to have last minute appointments are you loyal to your one? Thinking you might be able to find one elsewhere sooner if not?)

Thank you SH, DIA, DFW321 (always makes me think of Ted Rogers) and Skinty.

The chiro was recommended by my other lady and I'm happy to wait as I can't stand the bone cracking thing 🤢 my original guy was in the city and so expensive now.

Had my NH$ physio which consisted of them admitting to not being qualified, a couple of prods to the painful parts and giving me bits of paper with exercises on 😟 thank goodness I've got my private appointments.

It did annoy me getting the FBM date wrong as I'd prioritised the rest of that course over my "posh" facial training.

I won't need to cover much rent from income or my float, if I'm a bit short.
    - I've got a full diary one day next month and that alone nearly covers a week's rent, plus I've regular 'big' bookings. I'm building a decent client base and reputation 😊

It's been lovely and sunny today, made it into the garden after I'd finished. Did a bit more tidying up and sowed some seeds.

    Just had steak pie 😋

    I always wanted a Dusty DFW321 😍

I'll soon be spending one day a week between 2nd home and home as I'm ditching some hours and the salon isn't open that day. It was a tough decision as I felt I should do another beauty day rather than opt for a day it's closed.
However, I also need me time, with fresh air and nature at my finger tips, rest time, film time and everything else I used to do. I'll also have dedicated training time and can take my fully charged laptop or tablet. I also have a bit more stability as a few months were added to my day job, doesn't mean I can't leave earlier 😉

I'm actually getting bookings and enquiries via my own business page, followers are building up too. I am continuing to maintain it for when I move on.

Had my wax chat and it was so beneficial, can't wait to apply it the way I've learnt, again showing Bestie is wrong. I'll have time to do brows but really want to wax my legs and feel the sun on them (not the same day of course); worst case, I do them when I get home 🤭
    - missed out on my lunch nap and feeling it now.

I've been in the garden, sowed some sweetcorn and peas, gave everything a good water.  I have a tray ready to sow my aubergine seeds, however, I've done enough for one day.

We had roast chicken and mash for tea.

Thank you SH, Skinty and DIA, I'm counting the weeks down. Having me time has been met with a lot of support when I've mentioned it to those who know about my 'double life'. Salon Bestie said I can do a model that day for extra practice if I want, but was so pleased I'll be getting the balance.

Had a relaxing day. Only one (big) booking first thing. After lunch I had a booking via my page and gained a few more followers.

I was only £45 short for my rent, which is impressive. I'm now saving for the next lot.

I waxed my knees / lower legs and lip. Hopefully I'll be able to slot in brows, upper legs and underarm tomorrow. I adore the wax I use in my business as it really does what the maker says when I use it as taught in my training and the 1-2-1.

TomBo was at A&U's today, doing gardening.

Had chicken and chips for tea. I'll do some rice in the morning, dice and add the leftover chicken, and that's my lunch sorted 🤭

  • Thats a great result on the rent 👏 and fab that you are getting more bookings and followers on your page.

The thought of waxing lip & underarms always makes my eyes water 😳 I’m sure it’s not as painful as it sounds 😉
